The store is okay, all the essentials you would expect but a very confusing layout inside - especially if you want any food to go like sandwiches etc which are past the self-checkouts. Inside also feels a bit dated as well, a modern upgrade seems needed!
Always Shop at Asda but usually in Bolton which are good stores. In bury shopping visited the worst Asda store ever. There was nothing in the fridges and what was in was a total mess. The store is dirty and unkempt and shelves empty will not shop there again.
The place is dimly lit and chaotic. I sometimes struggle to read labels in parts of the store. The shelves are cluttered and disorganised and stock runs low on many items. I no longer bother to go.
Personal feeling this store feels quite dated, and isn't as large as Tesco that's on the other side of the town centre. Prices of certain items aren't that competitive. Still, for its convenient location and that it's one of the alternative groceries around the town, I'll keep shopping there if I need to.
A lot packed into this small store and well stocked. Had everything I needed. Ample parking. Cash machines available and also has click and collect shopping and also parcel pickup point.
You will never, ever see me in this store again! £40 fine for parking here, this is how this awful company treats it's customers. You will never get another penny out of me in this or any Asda store!
As good as any other ASDA. Proud customers for great deals and bargains. Good location with easy layout. A very long wait for click and collect service. Also, easy returns process with trained staff with exact knowledge of what seems to be a new system along with an out of way willingness to help. Fresh produce. Fresh bakery. Fish. Poultry. Meat. Lamb. Vegetables are fresh too. Late evening bargains are available.
Do the people of Bury not buy raw produce and make their own food? All the chilled stuff is behind doors and ery limited in range, whereas there is an entire aisle devoted to crisps. Bread selection is poor, no butchers just prepacked meat. And the store is held together by sticking plasters and bostick. Really dated.
I dont agree about their staff wearing covid masks as a personal preference. I Suffer with anxiety and felt distressed someone serving me with a mask on .Covid has gone so move on , i was that distressed I didnt remember to scan my phone for bargains thats how anxious I was i couldnt get out quick enough. If this carries on I wont be shopping here again that how strongly I feel about it .They should work in the store area where people like me cant see them and feel uncomfortable.
Tuesday night 20:40. Security guard is red eyed and stinks of cannabis. Sort yourselves out Asda ***UPDATE*** Just been in again Tuesday the 14th May and the same security guard is stinking out the entrance with weed. What a joke
