The gentleman that served me on the cigarette desk at 5pm 23/07/24 was by far the most kind, conversive and generally wonderful person I have came across in any supermarket in the vast majority of my life. I didn't catch his name and the receipt doesn't show an ID or name but he deserves an award for his outstanding customer service. Genuinely a brilliant person and I wish I lived in the area so I could have my day brightened more regularly as he has done today
I am disabled and have to use walking aid, visited stenhousemuir asda this morning at 10am. No checkouts open, I had a full trolley ,asked a woman with pink hair who was standing talking to several other members of staff if she could open a checkout for myself and another lady she rudly pointed to self checkout and told us we had to use them.5 minutes later she herself opened up a checkout.nVery bad customer service, I can see why asda are struggling to compete with other stores when their staff are more interested in chatting with each other, than doing their job
Pathetic, go in at 07.45 boxes all over isles & crates, pallets etc, staff filling shelves, sell by dates on meals was appalling whilst trying to shop for the week ahead, surely shelves should be packed for opening times and not whilst customers are trying to shop and dodge staff and obstacles all round the store, absolutely disgraceful, Asda you should be ashamed of your service, might i add, this is not a 1 off, like this every Saturday when i go, maybe time to shòp elsewhere
Never enough staff on the staff the tills.nI often go later at night and the lack of checkouts is frustrating but I went on Sunday afternoon and there wasn't a till open. It's not reasonable to expect people to do a weekly shop at the self checkout. A couple older women on the shop floor, absolutely ran ragged expected to run a full supermarket, while getting called to get parcels while attempting to deal with dozens of frustrated shoppers. Poor customer service and shocking treatment of your frontline staff.
Never enough checkouts open, bare shelves of the most bland basic 'flavours/range' A Scottish 'Superstore' where its lucky if you can get 'Scottish bread' or even a Scottish morning roll. Lets not even mention the totally tornfaced unhelpful Supervisors that hang about the auto-tills all shift, everyday
