I visited here today since I was in the area. It’s incredibly run down, and incredibly messy. There were no organisation of the stock and it was just hanging off shelves. Drink bottles not stacked correctly, they were everywhere, toiletries were stocked shabby... I think it may have been restock day or something but it was just a mess and toilets too. The sale rail at the back near the loo’s were just a joke. Asda have changed their plastic bags too, and both broke the moment I put stuff in them.
A lot of rude staff. The toilets SINK!! They had a refurb up there recently and it DID NOT take away the urine smell from the toilets. You need new plumbers! That acutally know what they are doing.nnClick and collect services, they do not bring out all of your food.nnAVOID THIS SITTINGBOURNE STORE!
I made an online ASDA order which never turned up - calling head office was pointless as they basically said they couldn't help me, they put a request in for a refund £130 and the refund request was refused as it was marked as delivered online. At this point I thought I wasn't going to be able to get the money back but I managed to contact the Sittingbourne store, by calling security in the store as seemed the only way to get to talk to an actual person, who then took me across to a lovely lady who looked into this. Herself and a driver could both clearly see that something was not right here and I should've got my shopping - she left it for management to look into which I was grateful for as it was more than what head office done. I was called I think within the hour to say the delivery driver had took it to someone else and they will issue a refund themselves. This was last week and today I have stumbled across a voicemail message from my delivery driver, half hour earlier than my time slot same time it got marked as delivered online as the woman told me the time on the tracker where she sounded pretty fed up and said she has my delivery and wanted to know if i wanted it now. I've obviously missed the call but she has then marked this as delivered just because she's arrived somewhere early... just seems a bit of a coincidence that you're early, will then need to move onto the next customer and seems like it was a little too much effort to just come back to me on time so instead give it to someone else? Bearing in mind, in my shop I had 8 large easter eggs and a normal food shop... that would be a pretty big order to just accidently hand out to someone? 3 stars purely for the security and lovely woman who helped me over the phone - I'd never do an online shop again knowing I'm potentially going to get fobbed off and not get money back.
Absolutely disgusted with how iv been spoken to in here today . After spending over an hour on scan and go the machine froze and a man said I had to go to a normal checkout and pointed to a lady to which I went to . As I stood there a member of staff were on the floor near the railings she then said can you not see I’m doing something here I said sorry iv just been told to come here she said well you will have to move I’m cleaning up glass . So I replied how was I supposed to know that. Anyway got my bags out onto the belt only 5-6 bags and asked the women Sharon if we could do one bag at a time so I can then repack it. She looked really annoyed and instead got the bottom of one bag and tipped it all upside down…. I heard the jars bang and items fell everywhere. I said excuse me can you not do that please as things are going to get broken/ ruined including the celebration cards that were in that bag. She said well nothing broke . I then replied that isn’t the point she then continued to be rude and said well I havnt got time to do all this. I then said iv just been told to come on here it isn’t my fault the system went down and its just rescanning but out of a bag …the remarks from her still kept coming and I asked to speak to a manager and got ignored.. the women behind her Kim then piped up to me don’t speak to her like that … I again said I havnt done anything how is this good customer services . The guy who told me to go on the checkout then came over to help unpack my bags . Sharon then made a comment of oh look you’ve got help now ……after I had paid I stood at the side waiting for a manager and both women kept talking to each other and smiling. I am absolutely furious with this experience this customer service is disgusting and never again will I go back to this store
Ordered a delivery, the pizza was wrong. I ordered a Chicago town Pizza 4-5£ which wasn't in stock and was replaced with a goodfellas pizza 1-2£ they have my contact details and could have made a simple phone call asking what I'd like as a replacement
