I'd forgotten this was the station with the dreaded queue pretty much everyday at around 1630, and that every visit it was either closed to be refilled, had only one type of fuel or only had 2 lane open for a usually super busy station. This is a poorly organised facility. The staff on the checkout have always been lovely though and it's very clean. The air machine, I have never seen it not working unlike many others. I have made a mental note not to visit this station in passing for another few years though
Relatively quiet and fuelled to £39.99. I then went to the kiosk and was charged £40.01. It appears that when I stopped delivering the fuel, it added an extra 2p for the privilege of putting the nozzle back on the pump. Tut tut asda fuel, do this to enough people and you've made a nice tidy sum.
It was open for a short time! Queued up around the road past screwfix but went down quite quickly just inconsiderate people that don't want to queue and try and push their self in!..
I used the pay at pump facility. It was easy to use. The price of fuel was cheaper than most other stations in the area.
Price very competitive but I elected to 'pay on pump'- then found only 1 of 2 pumps was working!
Self Service credit card needed as no staff, fuel was the cheapested locally, no hand gel provided, no plastic gloves provided & fuel spills over floor not cleaned up, no fire extinguishers seen either. Looked Grubby!!
Not too busy. Instructions could be more helpful for those of us who haven't used forecourt air lines for nearly 20 years as a home compressor has always been available. Tyres inflated fuelled up and ready to go.
Again .... why isn't it 24 hour service ? Why are fill at pump only one sided ??
There is no set times for this petrol station, not even the staff know, sometimes open at 7am sometimes open at 8am not a clue Says 24 hours but only for cars, you can't fill a van here unless you reverse into the pumps
Usually one of cheapest in area, but too few auto-pay pumps, usually closed except for two pumps in an evening. On busy days access into and out of the vicinity can be rotten with traffic having issues exiting onto the main road.
