As a girl who loves to enjoy life, I need my car to get me from A to B & back again on a daily basis. The only issue with driving these days is the fact the price of fuel has just gone up & up to the point that a lot of Garages now charge over £2 a litre!! Before it would cost me around £60 to fill my car's tank up. Now it's costing me £80 to do so! Quite the difference indeed.... But as my car needs fuel, I along with everyone else just accepts the price increases as what other choice do we have?? The cheapest place to buy fuel right now in Colchester Essex is from ASDA. Sainsbury's is in second place price wise but this can & does change each week. Let's hope the prices come down again as quickly as they shot up...... Love as always Justine xXx StyleOutYourHome
First visit to this forecourt at the Colchester store and it was a pleasant experience. The pumps, forecourt and verges are spotless clean and well looked after. You put your fuel in and then drive to the pay kiosk and pay friendly staff through your window, perfect if it's a chilly day! As with other Asda forecourts, the price of diesel was reasonable. No toilets here, being window service, but there's an air line and water near the exit for 20p. Overall, a nice place.
Like all food shops they have slowly put the prices up now they have got rid of a lot of independents
Me and 2 other customers were stood by our cars holding our petrol pump hoses for nearly 5 minutes as nobody had switched on the pumps. The woman at the kiosk was extremely rude to me when I politely enquired on mine and the others' behalf why the pumps were not running . She gave me a dirty look and harshly shouted, "Cause we're not open yet! Hence the shutters are shut! You gotta wait!" So me and the others all drove off and didn't give her our customs. Unprofessional; there should have least been a sign up or something!
Compared to others. Asda sells petrol at an okay price. Though going back up again and we know why. And you can also pump your tyres. It's 50p for 3 mins and you can pay via contact less. Very handy
Always fill up here seems to be the cheapest in colchester most of the time and I can fill up late at night on the self service pumps which suits me perfect with my DJ lifestyle. Plus I can fit my rather large van i and out of the forecourt nice and easily.
Good petrol and diesel station..mostly there are free slots so you do not have to wait long. Its in your exit after purchasing the supplies and i find it quiet comfortable. The fuel is also cheap and the machines are good quality. The exit cashier would let you know how much to pay before you say the pump number. Overall recommended place to fill fuel.
Decent low prices and the pumps serve fuel more swiftly than many competitors.... But... to have x2 of the four self-service pumps out of action for months and has been an ongoing problem for years is ridiculous. Always big queues when the manned kiosks are closed. Get it sorted ASAP please!!
Excellent forecourt. Air line that you can pay via contactless, it has some pay at the pumps, self car washes and a little shop. In relatively little time you could wash your car, put air in the tyres and water in the screen wash...and fill your tank. Usually the cheapest petrol, too!
2 weeks on the bounce have gone to Asda petrol station advertising as 24hrs but both times have been shut
