I'm a resident in portlethen but greedy prices, I will never use this station. I've seen a 12p per litre difference in price compared to bridge of dee prices or even worse gleaner petrol stations in the middle of nowhere where they normally charge a fortune are actually cheaper than portlethen.
So after a trip to Northern Ireland petrol there is 1.34. And some nights in the go stations it's 20p cheaper betwen 7pm and 7 am, came home to find asda at 1.44. Bloody crooks them and all the other super markets are just taking the p1ss.
This would be my first choice for fuel if you could collect points on Asda rewards. Disappointed that Portlethen station vacuum machine was not working. Coins stuck and error on card payment machine.
Assumed ASDA would be reasonably priced, wasn’t looking for bargain basement. However, on review, after filling up, 150.7 is over the top. Petrol Prices app shows not only there own Garthdee store at 144.7, but SHELL on Wellington is cheaper aswell! Total and utter greed. I’ll have to start using the app and plan. More fool me and shame on you ASDA
Filled up, I needed a receipt, but the self-service pump ran out of paper. Went to customer service and was told to come back. Came back on the way down south. I was told i will get a phone call next week to come and collect the receipt. 1. Worked in Aberdeen and now going away with unknown date of return visit. 2. Is it not a legal requirement to provide a receipt? 4th time i had this experience with ASDA, all the other places supermarkets with self-service are able to provide one there and then at the customer desk, understandable that paper could run out.... Will you tell me not to fill up with Asda then? Well, i do my best to avoid it, but unfortunately, I wanted to give them a so-called chance. Even if the pump was able to warn you, that receipt isn't available at this time.
Why does it have to cost more than the next one in Garthdee is it due to no immediate completion in the local area? I'm sure it's cheaper to deliver the fuel to Portlethen than go further north to Aberdeen?
Pay at the pumps 24 hours. Kiosk for card and cash payments 7.30am - 7pm - 7 days a week. Car wash and Air machines take card or cash and 24 hours
The Thai looking woman who works there is absolutely rude and disgusting, my card didn't work because she pulled the machine away to fast and then complained I'm causing the queue behind me, had to pull my car around and get out on foot to swipe card again and it worked, she then said "you need to learn how to operate your card" will be submitting a complaint and anybody else who has experienced her should also do the same, her customer service skills are shocking!
Close to my house so fill up my car from here all the time. Its has nominal paid Air/Water and Jet wash. If you get hungry while cleaning your car you can quickly visit Macdonald next door.
Zero stars unfortunately.. sadly because the woman who mostly works there is so rude and very unaprochable and makes it a very unpleasant experience. Basic manners gone amiss!
