I have been using the Five Mile Garage for all my servicing / repair needs for the past seventeen years. That in its self says something! They have provided an honest and reliable service over those years and any questions, issues or concerns addressed without fuss. Don’t judge the place perhaps on appearance, judge it on the service you receive. On occasion when my vehicles have went in with a fault more often than not I will receive the vehicle back the same day… I know of people that don’t get that kind of service with national garages within the area. To me a family run business that has been trading as long as the Five Mile says they are doing something right and perhaps we as customers don’t appreciate the effort others make to keep us on the road. I would like to say that this is not a sponsored review, this is my honest opinion and I will continue to use the Five Mile in the future. All the best to everyone at the Five Mile and thanks for your help over the years.

An absolute shambles of a place and I'm truly surprised they're still in business from their corrupt, ridiculously overpriced quotes for work & incompetent MOT testers. I made the foolish mistake of returning to them after several years of knowing how bad they were and had my memory firmly refreshed. They're actually worse than before. Avoid like the plague!!! You have been warned.

For a few years now, we have had our class 7 mots done here, this year the van failed on a few things and we got a quote to do the repairs of 340 quid including the mot I was happy with the price but unhappy that one fail was on a dealer supplied bolt that they said was not correct but I went ahead thinking they would fit a 30p nut to correct the problem , how wrong I was the final bill was 490 quid , this extra consisted of a the MOT fee and a heli coil that was fitted to correct the bolt problem instead of a 30p nut when i asked about it they said they would phone me back I’m still waiting The will get my class 7 MOTs done there as not many places do van Mots but never get another piece of work from me again feeling screwed out of my hard-earned cash and work carried out that was not needed Beware of the quotes and question all work BTW 65 quid for labour is scandalous
