weird layout and lied about their prices. fire whoever did the layout of this store. the cheese is on the other end of the store to the butter because for some reason they couldn't fathom having the chilled stuff all together. the aisle the cheese is in is just marked 'rice'. took me about 15 minutes to find it. but that's not all!! the craziest part is that i got a few cups of noodles bc they were reduced. i start scanning and it turns out they've just LIED and it's not reduced at all!! the cheese that was marked as £3.08 was actually £3.98 at the till. shoddy performance indeed. oh and on a side note it's super annoying to walk into here since there's not really a path and you just have to walk in the middle of all the cars and hope you don't get ran over
They must have secret cameras filming at the checkouts for some new reality series as it's an absolute comedy show in there everytime i go. Waited 10 mins at the self checkout with the red light flashing, practically begging for help.nTwo staff having a Mexican standoff, waiting to see who draws first.nAnd then when the staff do eventually come over, they just reset the till with no communication when it's the usual shenanigans of Asda items scanning at a totally different price than advertised. Again, it's like you have to beg for their actual assistance due to pricing errors.nThe fact that I take photos of all the shelf prices tells a clear story and shows that the system is clearly broken or rigged. Awful store. Staff need clear training in CS - like they are doing you a favour by selling you an item at the advertised price.
check the prices of your items when you're checking out, you might be losing alot of MONEY. almost every item I bought had offers on and I checked the weight and title of everything so when it says two for x amount they don't honour that on half the things. Then the listed prices are just flat out wrong too.nnmultiple times this has happened but by the time I'm home and check the receipt it's just too much effort for me to go back, I'm probably down over £30 because of them.
ASDA Liscard has a great array of food and drink, plus household goods. Sadly there are places where it falls down:n- The car park, what a nightmare as a driver and pedestrian!n- Too many automated tills; finding a person lead one is difficult!n- No café: Birkenhead has one.n- Most staff are OK, but some of those doing the online stuff can be quite narky.n- No more specialist services like bakers and the pizza area isn't as good as it once was.
Tried to return a item I purchased the day earlier. Unfortunately I clicked no receipt. On returning the item for a refund or an orther purchase I was informed no receipt I could only exchange It for something of the same value. And because it was a clothing item I could only exchange it for an other clothing item. All because I had no receipt and it was £16 and anything over £15 required a receipt.nExcellent customer service.
