Brilliant! If you are on holiday in this area then you can’t go far wrong nipping into Asda Selsey. It has everything you would expect and a bit more for a fairly small store. Really handy for holiday groceries as well as a rotisserie chicken or even a pair of flip flops- good location and lots on offer but can be very busy with holiday makers in peak season. Great supermarket with pretty much most of the items you need for a weekly or daily shop. George clothing section is a real bonus, but menswear items are limited. Fantastic bakery in store and a HOME section too. Their is also a petrol station here, which sells some of the cheapest fuel in the area, but please note it is for card payments only. Worth downloading the Asda rewards points app to help save yourself some money as you shop each time.
Good prices. The shop isn't as big as others but has most things you need, really the only big shop in selsey and I think everyone uses it for that reason.
Men's wear is just not there just pj and pant. Some staff are amazing and really friendly others just don't talk or smile . Cigarette counter allowing people to do a trolly of shopping have waited over 25 minutes to get served. Most places is less than five item . The regular staff on this counter are lovely but flat out . Doing many jobs include self service at times
Easily accessible via a roundabout off the main Chichester to Selsey road. It has a decent sized, slightly sloping car park in front of the store. There's also a Costa café and ASDA fuel station too. The fuel station is self service, unstaffed and card payment at pump only. The store itself is large, but not huge. As such it stocks almost all the Asda ranges, but in limited quantities. The bakery has the advantage of making piazzas and can cook them for you too. We found the store easy to get around, and also to find what we needed without a lot of unnecessary walking. There is a fully accessible customer toilet and a help desk too. Checkouts were busy as not many people seemed to want to use the half dozen self checkouts available. The self checkouts also had been programmed to allow cash back transactions. First time I've come across this facility, and a welcome step forward. The staff member we spoke to was cheerful and helpful. An enjoyable visit.
*this is in relation to the fuel station and not a reflection of the store or the staff* Filled up at their fuel station and within a few minutes of driving away the engine warning light came on and the car hasn’t performed well since. Was informed this was a current issue with Asda fuel which is contaminated.
Great prices. Range is not so great. Veg/salad aisle is especially lacking towards the end of the day.
Smallish supermarket with good parking and a fuel station adjacent. However, I was disappointed in the store itself as at 1pm there was absolutely no sandwiches left in their chiller cabinet, the staff all looked and acted so miserable, the fresh produce looked tired, and I found most of the items I wanted were either out of stock, or they just don't sell them in this branch! The limited clothing they sell was OK, but for a new store, I did expect so much better being as the one closest to where I live Havant sell everything!
Just bought new Kiev be aware packing does not say has garlic butter in them !
Great little store used while we was staying at bunn leisure
