Really good store. It does absolutely everything. Food and clothing quality is really good. Cafe is nice too. Lots of parking and shop is wheelchair accessible. Worth having a look. Love this store
Very large store with plenty of parking and great offers. The restaurant is poor quality. Very dirty floors, tables not cleared and little choice in the way of food. Staff are friendly and helpful, though. The toilets were awful as well. I would not revisit the restaurant
As a supermarket it's OK ! We all have our off days and I think I must have experienced one of ASDA's. I had cause to return some "vine tomatoes" which upon opening the packet I found them to be 90% bad bruised n split I managed to salvage one only. Against my normal character I decided to return them, as they were within date and had only been purchased the day before. I took them to Customer Service - mistake I would add these tomatoes were appalling! CS very dismissively took the bad packet tossed them onto a back shelf and said "go and get another pack" - no please, thank you, apology or the least bit concern. I didn't travel back to this store for replacement or refund but to suggest they inspect the "fresh" produce they are selling a little more thoroughly. My mistake; I should have insisted on seeing a Manager. Needless to say I will not buy fruit n veg prods from ASDA any time soon. Hope that this hasn't come across too strong, it's not my style. Late night shopping isn't recommended here. A lot of the aisles were almost blocked due to inconsiderate shelf stacking and no manned tills meant having to put a week's shopping through the self-scan tills. Very poor and not what I expected of a large company. Thanks for your response, but I should add that I did ask a staff member for assistance but she said she couldn't open a till as she was the only one on duty and could not leave her post. As a disabled customer, I felt very let down by this response.
After driving down from North Yorkshire today... 7.5 hours, we went to your Hayle Store, firstly visiting the Cafe... my husband and I ordered Lasagne which was served with salad and garlic bread, we also had a side order of chips... the meal was very well presented, hot and tasted amazing... staff went above and beyond to welcome us... will definitely make a return visit while we're here on holiday... then after doing some food shopping.. we were served by yet another happy, helpful female member of staff... again going above and beyond...Thank you for making our first day a lovely welcoming one
All in one shop and very convenient and ideal for a small place like Hayle. Got all I needed in one location and I loved the variety they have in products. Be sure to pop in when in Hayle
Don't bother. Not worth the trip which is annoying as closest one. Never has any decent stock in especially in George/ homeware dept. and some of the staff are just awful.
Convenient superstore in a great location, good selection of everything, could also find all schools uniform for my children's.
Sharon in the cafe in Hayle Asda was my saviour this morning. Having locked myself out of my flat she let me sit in the cafe before 8am - the cafe opens at 8.30 - and made me a cup of tea. She was friendly and gave great service, thank you Sharon.
Nice Asda, great produce and not too expensive. Waited to buy a scratch card for 10 minutes though, as other lady told me she was customer service only, but then served other people the same products.
