I’m not a huge Asda fan, if I’m honest but that’s another story. As far as Asda stores go this is one of the best I’ve been too in terms of cleanliness and store layout.nThe toilets are at the far end of the store, half way along by the clothes.nCar park is big, plenty of space usually and has good access with those with kids or disabilities.nOverall it’s a pleasant experience for a supermarket.
Had an online delivery. Driver arrived and immediately explained the chilled items trays were not on his van. He explained they would be delivered the following day after 2pm. After failed delivery I called the helpline number. I was informed there would be no delivery and I had already been issued with a refund which I had when I checked my bank account. The helpline chap offered a £5 goodwill voucher. When we spend hundreds a month at Asda thats a real slap in the face!! Offered a click and collect. Not happening as there is health reasons why I order and pay for a home delivery. Then informed a £15 goodwill voucher had been added to my Asda account. My 1st delivery was £3.75, if I put another order in the next delivery would have been £7. How is £15 goodwill voucher any help when almost all of it is ploughed back into the cost of delivery and another delivery gives Asda the chance to miss items, send short dated items, or items that spoiled or rotten. The elderly, frail, people that are often relying on the items in that delivey to put a meal on the table the same day/ that evening. Many have home deliveries are having chemotherapy and unable to be around others are relying on a delivery that is missing half their order. So many items arrive with a short date. This is completely unacceptable Asda. Some of your teams need retraining as you are letting some of the most vulnerable local people down when they are paying for a service that let's the locals down. Many fresh veg sent in orders are past their best and unable and put straight in the bin. Many items sent have dates that are out of date just 2 days after delivery.
Great store, I find a crazy deals on sone home appliances, got a electric glass kettle for just 7 pounds. You will find clothes section as well.nWe were looking for ready made cake but found very limited options only.nI would say best store in hayle overall you will find everything.
I must be unlucky but every time I go to this store late afternoon or early evening there are so many products out of stock, aisles full of clutter and staff on self checkouts who like to finish their conversation with colleagues before clearing one of the many annoying self checkout errors. Is in a convenient location with large car park but that's about the only positives.
A good sized, local ASDA store.nGood amount of parking, with disabled bays and parent and child bays - which i did find quite a lot of people abusing.nThere is a cafe on site, as well as a George and Home section.nToilets close to the cafe.nA wide range of products, at good value.nBakery, pizza and pasties counters.nDedicated Self-service basket, trolley and scan as shop tills, There were also a few manned tills as well.nLottery/cigarette kiosk on way out.nStaff on the tills were friendly and helpful.nShelves we were stocked.nStore was clean, tidy and bright.
