The shop is great but the new security is really bad, they just sit there on there phones doing nothing and not even watching the CCTV, it's ridiculous, I pointed out a security risk once, he just said okay and went back to his phone, what even is that... And also the other day, two security guards sat at one desk, yep both playing on there phones.nnI will also like to comment on the brightness of the store, it's not nice, not photosensitivity friendly, turn the lights down a little, it's way to bright.nnAlso I know of all the food waste, there is so much, you have charity options what you are supposed to be working with, why are you not doing this? You even have a contract with one which is olio?
It’s still a good store. The home stuff is great. I just wish they’d tone down the bright lights. Might need to wear tinted glasses if I go in again. I don’t look at the green lights. But it’s hard not to notice at times. And all the brightness around skincare. No wonder more people are going to Tesco.
Very slow customer service especially with parcels don’t even bother sending Evri parcels here as the shop fails to accurately portray weather their parcels have been processed or not , lines are always very long and each time staff r baffled on how to use most of the delivery and collection tools
The home section looks to have had a big make over! Looks greatnReally busy store so you could be queuing a little while.nGood parking plenty of space!
Don’t get the hate. Overall decent shop in a busy town centre and has loads of items compared to the usual Express style shops. Obviously it’s an ASDA so some of the quality is quite cheap but you also find some good deals too.nnComplaints is that the radio is far too loud and annoying that makes me not want to go. Like it doesn’t make you want to shop just makes you pissed off.nnStaff often chatting & will look at you like “do not ask us for help rn” but generally overall pretty helpful, think there’s so many staff it sort of has its own mini society, quite interesting to see which staff are talking to each other lol.nnAnd lastly they change a lot of shelves around so you go in and the bread has been moved to a different place, and pretty big and the signage and layout and placement of items doesn’t feel intuitive, so you have to ask staff or waste 5-10 mins walking down each aislennOverall pretty grateful to have this shop in the town centre 5 min walk from town.nnOh & the WiFi is great.
