Why pay for parking in a supermarket? The place is a maze and isn't looked after and it shows with boxes everywhere, the staff are not really approachable as in other stores, the ladies at customer service have a face on them and are always unfriendly. Definitely recommend the Bromborough store over this, much politer staff. This store looks rundown. Has two floors top floor has a cafe and clothes, bottom floor has food, stationary, electronics, toys and a post office. Lady at the checkout blabbering on to customers infront and then after serving me to the subsequent customers behind, but to me nothing no greeting just the bare minimum when paying. Low level of intelligence in this store.
Ordered something for click and collect, it still hadn't arrived after 3 days. When I asked them to cancel it and refund in the store they couldn't find any record of the order although I had it in my email. After phoning the call centre twice I eventually got them to cancel the order and refund. When I left a bad review I got an email telling me that their moderators had removed it! It's a shame how Asda has deteriorated. It used to be great but now the store is dirty and dingy, the toilets are smelly and the customer service is a disaster. I will certainly be shopping elsewhere.
Great big store with an excellent choice ...but beware goods marked down but when you self scan you are charged the full price , I was almost £5 out of pocket but noticed , staff member sorted it out by no problem but more worryingly the lady scanning her stuff on the checkout next to me said the same thing had happened to her the previous day, so goodness knows how many times this occurs daily.nIn addition on exiting the alarm went off I returned inside and showed the security guard my receipt for the electrical item which still had a tag on. Again no problem.nI know retail staff are under immense pressure but seeing as the staf member had discounted my item at the checkout you would think she would have deactivated the security sticker. These 2 issues put another 10 mins on my trip on what was already a tight schedule. We all make mistakes but this was not a good trip.
Huge asda, good household and clothes range. Unfortunately I had to pay £25 to park for 40mins, even though I spent over £80 in Asda itself. I don’t think that’s a reasonable way for a supermarket to treat its customers so will be looking to avoid Asdas in future
Not happy i was messed about by DPD I get this isn't Asda fault but they now have my parcel which I needed for tomorrow morning after paying extra for delivery which hasn't been delivered as I have been at the delivery address all daynnAnyway why am I annoyed at Asda......nnI looked on Google at the opening times for today Sunday it says open until 4:30pmnI rushed to Asda after work and got to the store at 4:19pm doors locked ???nnSecurity guard behind the window could hardly speak English telling me he closed the doors early because he wants to get a head start to close the store I mean seriously ??nnWhy advertise on line you close at 4:30pm when they are closing the doors more than 10 minutes before the times on Google.nnThis is false advertisement nnSecurity shouldn't be able to just close when they want because they want to go early im sure people still rush in the last 10 minutes of opening times for things they want to grab knowing its 4:30pm close.nnTried to complain online just tells me to go in store
