I've just had the displeasure of Asda Ellesmere Port' £5 breakfast which was cold. I'm sure it was cooked fresh some time in the distant past but certainly not today. I won't be eating it and will never order a breakfast at Asda ever again, what ever happened to standards?

Asda Ellesmere Port are back to their usual tricks, messing up the ordering of fresh bread. For weeks all of their bread has had very short shelf life dates. This is because the person ordering doesn't know how to do it properly. They're ordering too much, and it just sits on the shelves for days while the fresher bread sits in trays in the stores room behind the shop. By the time it goes onto the shelves it's already 3 days old. Better getting your bread from Sainsbury's or Marks and Spencer - unless you like stale bread, in that case go to Asda. I also agree with the woman below who complains about Ellesmere Port branch Opticians team. They are unprofessional, miserable and very incompetent . . . . This Asda is the worse in the country . . . .

Bread shelf is always empty. What bread is there has a very short date and is stale . . . I go to Marks and Spencer now. Always fresh there.
