Best time to come here is during the late hours of any week day, I normally avoid this place on a weekend due to stock being low and the whole store getting trashed by shoppers. Asda is your usual shopping centre, fairly priced and normally won't hurt your wallet. This store is huge, and the best part is that they have a 'world food' aisle, where I spend most of my time, and usually get told off from my other half for picking out any random item I can find. (Its worth getting told off for)... but moving on, they have a nice spacious parking area and it isn't to hard to get into. The staff here are helpful during the day, however after midnight don't bother them....poor souls look like zombies stacking shelves, just let them be and find items for yourself. Overall, nice place to grab bits and bobs. Food is fairly priced (like many Asda stores) and staff are helpful when not super busy. Oh, and avoid weekends if possible!

It's a huge store with plenty of free parking (for 3 hours) and they regularly have offers such as 'Rolling back' prices so you can get some good bargains. The toilets were surprisingly clean and smelt really nice which you never get in public supermarket stores. So well done Asda!

Complaint: customers are video recorded here, camera in your face and without having asked permission first. Personal Violation. The café constitutes the absolute minimum a company of this size could dare get away with: Junk food, poor quality junk food at that. Plastic lined disposable cups, disposable plates, plastic cutlery that is not strong enough to eat with. Pizza and fried stuff. Baked potato being the only opportunity to eat without health detriment. A terrible thing to allow children to become familiar with also. I wonder how far this ethos extends through the buying practice of their store produce Re. attitude to sourcing ethics, welfare, pesticide residues and so forth. Oh my god

If I could give 0 stars I would. Had the most worst experience this evening from the night manager Michael who told me past 10pm I could not receive a refund after I had just bought a faulty item. He was rude and unhelpful and told me that his staff were probably not going to double check for faulty items as well after asking him to check for a non faulty replacement. He stood there waiting for me to leave as he wondered what i expected him to do? I have never ever EVER met a manager like this in all my life.

Tried shopping here for the first time and staff left me in peace to peruse and browse for my groceries, but staff were always close by in case. Only problem was I couldn't find the flour. #wherestheflour
