I had an incredibly disappointing experience at your Cheadle Hulme store just then!nAfter filling a trolley with food and other items, I was informed by a long-time staff member, Sue, that no staffed tills were available, and customers were required to use self-service. This approach is unacceptable, especially for those with large trolleys or who rely on staff support.nnAs a long-time customer who previously praised this store, I am deeply dissatisfied with the lack of consideration for customer convenience. This experience has caused me to reconsider shopping at Asda altogether.nnI hope you address this issue promptly to improve the shopping experience for your customers.
I just have to say you have some lovely young staff at this supermarket, but the one who is so organised and very helpful is Leah.
Customer service in this store is an absolute joke!! All the checkouts were closed so I went to the kiosk to be told very rudely by an older woman with brown hair and glasses we can't serve you here go to the checkouts, absolutely disgusting attitude!!!
Store itself is fine, but I got a parking charge notice for being on the line. Company was predatory, didn’t even give me the required info to pay the fine before jacking up the price. Haven’t been back since. It’s a joke to charge me for shopping there, with a half empty car park.
Hiring is discriminatory. My spouse uses a different name than what's on his passport. The associate who took his passport acted completely different when my husband explained that he goes by a different name than what's on his passport. He never heard back from them. That's why you'll only see white workers at this store. He probably wouldn't have even gotten a call if he used his real name.
