Was charged full price for item clearly on offer. Woman at customer service told us to do what we want but we will not be getting a refund as only one flavour is on offer despite them all being on the shelf with the offer. Very rude and poor customer service skills.
A little busy but it is expected this time during the festive season. But always helpful staff. I got what I wanted I didn't have to cue too long. Considering prices are going up ASDA still very reasonably priced on their groceries and still great fresh vegetables and salads.
Poor customer care. On Christmas Eve my bag for life handle snapped on car park. Glass bottle smashed and two cans of drink burst. Went back in store to explain so glass could be cleaned and also see if these items could be replaced. Was told ‘Company policy states that as I had passed check-out it was not Asda’s responsibility and bag was ‘probably’ too heavy’. I personally didn’t think this was correct and was more likely down to the poor quality of new bags. Asked where the guidelines around what weight should be put in bags was displayed and was told, there was nothing more that they would do!! Next customer please. Very dismissive and rude making me feel very embarrassed. Saw two other people with bags that had broken whilst leaving the store.
Always seems to be an excuse at the pizza counter or I'm incredibly unlucky when someone eventually acknowledges your existence. No bases, printer not working, only got these toppings, it's a 25 minute wait so we're not taking orders...go to the Astley Bridge one, much more reliable. On the rare occasion you get one though they're nice
Did some small shopping at this store today, used self checkout , at the end added lotto ticket to my basket, age limit approval message popped up, one of ur staff came to approve it, asked me for an ID to buy lotto ticket! I said I haven't got one, so she cancelled my ticket and walked off, I am 35!!! Educate ur staff about age limits ! Cos definitely I do NOT look like under 18!!
DONT Accuse PEOPLE OF SHOPLIFTING!!! As you can see most of these bad reviews are about rude staff sort them out!!! The staff are so rudee to people if you are working in a shop you need to know manner and how to be kind to people your not forced to work at Asda so why the bad attitude? That old women with short ginger hair is very rude I would like to file a complaint! She accused us of trying to open the curtain bag although we were not! Very bad staff extremely rude and also quite racist if you have got a hijab on they will follow you around and they think that you are shop lifting the staff thing there all cool being rude to people absolutely no manner l was in Asda today with my sister and the lady rudley came up to my sister verry aggressively saying "DO NOT OPENT THE BLANKET" we were only looking but she accused us of it also manners exist! ALSO THE lady at the self check out always hovers around us when we are paying very rude WE ARE HUMANS!!! I will never be going there ever again!!!THOS HAPPENED TODAY AT ABOUT21:00PM IN THE CURTAINS SECTION.
Hello, I am absolutely mortified and shocked having received a phone call from my 60 year old mother. Who is a regular customer of Asda Burden Park Bolton informing me she has just been BARRED. By the security guard Luke who said she was not allowed to enter the store or shop claiming she was abusive when parking her electric bike in the entrance of the store as he said this was not allowed. But what's odd is he told her this when she got back to the bike not when she was parking and locking it up. My mum explained to him she has parked and locked her bike up in that same spot for the last three years without any problems also there are no visible signs showing she can not place it here. My mum was confused and upset asking why he had barred for just for parking her bike here. He said it's for the abuse she apparently give, my mum stated she was not abusive and asked a member of staff Sarah to check the cctv as his claims are not true. But Sarah refused saying no if the security guard says you’re barred then I'm afraid you need to get a solicitor, she also said she may park her bike in that spot after Christmas confusing. How can she when she's now barred. I think this is utterly disgusting for my mum to have been treated this way and to have been barred from her local store. She knows all the other security guard who are very nice and friendly and have never once told her she can not park her bike there. My mum wants this investigating as this may happen to other customers and feels concerned, disappointed and let down by the store. More of all the false claims by the security guard. Can someone look into this matter urgently happening today Sunday 27th November between 2.10pm - 2.30pm. Checking the cctv as my mother has been accused and barred for something she did not do. Thank you
Hello Hope you're well . I'd like to raise an concern and complaint about my local Asda store in Bolton. This is the one in Burnden retail.park I went today to shop as a daily local regular customer. As my father went around to do his shopping I went to queue up for the Prime energy drinks After 10 mins the customer assistant Julie told me that she had already served me earlier today and would not serve me again to purchase this drink. I had not been to the store earlier as I was at work all day, she had mistaken me for someone else and refused to listen to me asking me to leave. I called my father who was still shopping- when he intervened to clarify her mistake she called more colleagues over and accused me of being racist and abusive. This was not the case, i was shocked and disappointed  at her remarks and false accusations. Myself and my family have shopped here for years and never faced such abuse and rude behaviour from asda store staff. I'd like them to stop treating people from ethnic minorities differently who are a different colour - there is clear racism from their side and need training further on equal opportunities and customer service. I have taken it to the local news and will ket everyone know how ethnic minorities are treated at asda.
Ridiculous behaviour by the staff. Don't know what they are doing. Keep you waiting for long periods of time without any explanation, are too busy chatting away on their headsets and phones. Disinterested in helping out customers entirely. Why work in a customer service role if you don't like attending to people in a nice calm manner?
Larger Asda with lots of parking, really needs a refurbishment but plenty of choice in the store has a Subway and a dry cleaning shop by the car park. Good place to get an easy meal on way home. No petrol station at this store.
