Popped into the store yesterday and it was mad busy and couldn't find a particular item. Awful shop. Always looks a mess, never any scan hand sets available. Must be the 3rd time now that I’ve left my trolley and drove to another shop. You cannot get half the stuff you need. I see adverts advertising lovely items for Xmas, this shop has none of them. Christmas section this year here is dreadful. It really is a wasted trip

Staff are rude and lack intelligence, lazing around the self checkouts, barely even any tills open. I once bought 2 Asda’s home brand products, scanned and paid, then their system malfunctioned, and I had to wait 20 minutes being accused of trying to shoplift by the busy body Asda cashier. I would avoid this Asda, better alternatives: Aldi, Lidl, and B&M all within close proximity on New Chester Road are all much superior.
I am sure that this Asda is run different to others on the Wirral. What makes me think this is that a lot of cheaper alternative brands and options don't appear to be available here... Went to some meat for Sunday lunch.... A leg of lamb was marked up at £23. I ain't paying that.... Went to Asda woodchurch and there you go, on offer at half price... Got a full leg of lamb for £11.50. Bromborough also had no cheaper alternative of the gaviscon £14. Jeees.... Woodchurch had cheaper alternative for £6.50
