Always empty shelves and very busy, not enough tills open. Most of items sold out, no one replenishes the shelves so I presume the warehouse is empty too. People with trolleys in line to basket self service area and no one even bothers. I don't like to so shopping there.
Absolutely pathetic place with rude and unhelpful staff who don’t care about their customers. I went to get a 6 item grocery order that I gave up on after an hour of trying to get it due to the level of staff incompetence and rudeness. The app wouldn’t check me in to say I arrived and I showed this to two staff and then showed them my order number and they told me I needed to check in. I had to go and get a manager from inside the store to explain this to the untrained minions at the collection point. After this they told me to get my car. I don’t have a car and I have six items so I don’t need a car to carry them. They guy then disappeared into the collection point for what I assumed was to get my order. However no order materialized after waiting in the rain for 15 minutes so I went in the store and had to rebuy the items. Now I am going through the process of a refund which is like playing chess with a pigeon. Never used asda before and won’t again.
Went in to buy prime this morning, got 6 bottles, complied with the rules, then later I went to my mum who was also buying prime, she was denied because I had already bought prime. Makes no sense as there was a woman with 5 children buying prime just normally and my mum was denied because I already bought 6 even though she didn't buy a single one. Felt extremely discriminated. Just because I'm bigger and easier to see doesn't mean my mum should be able to buy any prime. The staff very really nice but just obviously handpicking for who to get prime and for who to not get prime. 1/10. Very unlikely I'll be visiting Asda unless these things stop happening. Extremely disappointing.
Tried using the pharmacy, always short on stock, or never have repeated prescriptions, as for the people they act like they are above everyone, avoid.
Bought reduced fresh sushi from counter at the back still paid almost £3 for it only to get home and the rice is rock solid. Not happy.
Fantastic store for the residents of Boston and Surrounding Villages. We actual travel in from Spilsby about 15 mile out. Staff friendly,, and very helpful. Great range if clothes, kitchen and homeware. Electrical, DVDs, games and consoles..l Pizza counter and a deli counter. It's great value buying a pizza there to cook at home
It's a large supermarket in the centre of the town, so it becomes a staple weekly shop for many of the residents of Boston. It has everything you would need in terms of food which vary in price depending on the quality you want i.e. Smart Price and Extra Special and nutritional intake such as WeightWatchers products. Also sells a wide variety of clothes, books, stationary etc. which are also relatively cheaper than other places in Boston. This supermarket is always prepared for seasonal events such as Christmas and Easter, and have a range of season-related items to choose from. The staff have good customer service skills and are quick to attend to a problem you have, and keep the store organised and clean. This store also has a Cafe and Pharmacy but I personally wouldn't recommend either, which is why I rated ASDA Boston 4 stars. I would highly recommend going to other Cafes in town and a different pharmacy as this one for me has always been slow with prescriptions.
Went to Azda Boston today to see what it was like. I am vegetarian so looked to see a sight for meat free products in the freezer section like other supermarkets. Did eventually find the vegetarian section but not that impressed. I do t think I will shop there again. The real stupid thing that happened was when I met up with my husband. He had been waiting for a breakfast and as it was taking a long time I went to shop. He said when his breakfast came he had extra food on it to make up for the fact that they HAD RUN OUT OF EGGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could not believe that a cafe in a supermarket actually served a breakfast without an egg. Customer Service rubbish.
Absolutely ridiculous! Trying to speak to someone to find out if dad left his walking stick there. Tried ringing, stupid robot directing you to website then 'thankyou goodbye ' and cut off. Go to website and can't send message can only shop. Get a grip Asda, don't put a telephone number if its not possible to contact you. I'll buy him another walking stick, thanks for nothing
Never has anyone on self check out been as rude as this blonde lady asking for id , no name badge , just a smirk as she refused paracetamol.
