Well what a find. While walking through Truro and needing to find somewhere for lunch my family and I came across this place. It is a fantastic cafe with an art shop. The food and drinks menu were good. There was also a specials board. We had drinks and light lunches which were amazing. It was very very busy and they were short staffed but they managed the lunchtime service amazingly. Our food was lovely. Will definitely be back soon.
Lacking in value for money, for £10.50 you get a wedge of quiche, a few posh crisps, a dollop of fresh coleslaw and a small side of salad, not worth the money after having this same selection hundreds of times from all over the country, perfect food, service and locality though. I’d put this in the top 10% of overpriced food.
These guys are definitely doing something right as it was very busy. Seating on several levels accommodated the rush and the service was quick despite the number of customers. We ordered two coffees and 1 cake, the waitress bought two forks for the cakes in case we shared. So thoughtful, although the wife threatened to stab me if I picked up the other fork. It's these little things that keep you coming back and we will.
Lovely pea and mint soup, with the freshest granary bread. Delicious lemon drizzle. Good coffee. Clean toilets. Well worth a visit to a local, non chain, cafe.

Excellent service today sat outside at the art cafe. It was very enjoyable atmosphere and food. I had the macaroni and cheese with garlic bread and a oat milk chai latte it was delicious thankyou! The table service was great, the toilets very nice and clean! Only advice is maybe providing teapots for tea? Thankyou so much, will be back again soon!
Amazing food and great service, the best sandwich in Truro X
Waited over 40mins for a bowl of soup!! Waitress was very unapologetic and if we hadn’t already paid we would have walked out. Said they were short staffed but at least 6/7 waitresses walking around avoiding eye contact where possible. My son runs a pub and could help had a full blown 3 course meal for the time we have waited . Other families with food orders waiting even longer than us . Dreadful organisation & customer service
Great place to stop for some lunch and drinks - salads, sandwiches and jacket potatoes all lovely highly recommend the BLT!. Also useful that you simply pay upfront such that you can leave and continue your day in Truro once finished.
Excellent place for a generous lunch - Quiche was excellent and my sandwich was the best I'd had for ages. Lovely coffee. Will certainly be returning
