I needed a van to move some furniture from my mates house to me, then some more to my partners daughter. I tried T Mac first but they wouldn't answer the phone so I tried Arnold Clark who did answer the phone and booked up a transit van for the next day. On presenting myself to them they started the paperwork process, with my license. NI number, utility bill , another person's address and phone number. After what seemed an age I finally get to the van. Then off I went and did the job. The van was brand new and a dream to drive, with good fuel economy, so I was happy. The person who dealt with me was very good, but 750 pounds access for insurance, to me that's taking the piss. However I don't think there any different than any other hire companies.

Took our daughter yesterday to collect her first ever car. The lad we had been dealing with wasn't available due to sickness which was not a problem as another guy stepped in for the handover and was very professional and most helpful. He took her through all the paperwork etc then the manager stepped forward and also shook our hands to thank us for our custom. The young guy then took us outside and talked her through everything around and inside the car and made her feel very much at ease before finally handing over the keys and wishing her well with it.

Took car for a service waited a hour and a half got car back headed home stop at lay bye to have somthink to eat went to start car there was nothing phoned arnold clark wasent interested told me to phone number on wind screen took 4 hours for rac to come out the time wee got home was 11 Pm with a taxi all the way home from dumfries what a nightmare wont be back

The staff were lovely, and very helpful. Me and my son were offered tea or coffee, can't get over how nice and helpful they were, excellent service
