Visited new furniture section in basement yesterday run by Stylish Homes. Lovely italian leather furniture - found a suite, paid for it and delivered to us at midday today. Superb service. Highly recommended.
Camille Lingerie offers a fantastic fitting service locally as I live in Shepshed Shirley was wonderful . Very friendly and helpful. I came home with two very reasonably priced bras which fit properly and are very comfortable.. Will be buying all my bras from Camille in the future .
We went here to exchange a pair of shoes for my husband with no trouble at all and decided to try the cafe. What a wonderful experience that was. I had the cottage pie and Yorkshire pudding without the Yorkshire pudding and was given some roast potatoes in place. The veg served was cauliflower and carrots, I didn't want the peas and some gravy. My husband had chicken and chips with mushy peas. Both meals were cooked to perfection, steaming hot, the veg was nice and soft just how I like it and the home made cottage pie was out of this world. Service was quick, staff were friendly. We would highly recommend a visit. All polished off with a gorgeous lemon cake. Can't wait to go again. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Mr & Mrs Sharp, Barwell
My elderly Mother in law went back to this shop with an item of clothing, within their 14 days return policy, with the reciept and was told she could not get her money back. The item had no label which was no fault of her own. Without a label they explained they could not refund. Any item brought from a shop is entitled to a refund with a reciept and this shop does not do this. Unfortunately Armstrong Mills have lost a very valued regular customer, she was distressed searching for clothing of the equal price. After speaking to the shop floor person, we hit a brick wall. Be careful spending your money here!
A strange mix of antiques with modern craft and deco figurines that makes me wonder why it is stated as an antiques centre. If you dig a bit, you may find some victorian stuff, but nothing impressive. Lots of visitors, mostly people that start shopping for clothes in the ground floor and stop at the cafe. Prices a bit in the medium range.
Bought a large travel bag from this shop at the end of November last year. Loaded the bag up and when wheeling it to the front door a wheel fell. The bage was obviously defective, not used by me at all. As this occured 15 minutes before I was being picked up going to the airport I could do nothing about it. I have been away for six weeks and on arriving back have contacted the shop. Very abusive, very poor cutomer service, lying to us about reports, etc. Do not use this shop.
Quite busy. Good products but not cheap. The antiques centre is great and you can get a tea or coffee
excellent variety of clothing and household goods. shame the carpet dept was closed. we will return.
Loads of different things for sale. Go there ebrey month or so to see new things added. Worth a visit
Not the greatest parking, unclear where The stairs to the antiques area could be challenging for some The selection isn't great for collectors
