What an oddity.nReally nice rooms.nBut the usual crappy changing rooms in the gym.nKey card randomly stopped working as I'm here two nights. Go to reception. Card is fixed. Return later on, oh no wait it's not working.nnUpdate - that's two mornings I've had an early wake up by the lads performing maintenance on the 1st floor. No warnings and no apologiesnThe food is very very poor.nBut it's a great location for work and the nearby city.
Their receptionist, Molly, was extremely helpful and informative with my booking. I haven't even started my stay yet, only booked a few days ago by calling into reception. Molly exceeded my expectations and had a professional manner on the phone. My booking was easy, quick and stress-free. Lovely experience overall, and I am excited to stay!
Enjoyed our one-night stay, the place was nicely decorated for Halloween, the room was big and cosy, very warm, loved it. The food was 5/10, had a lasagna in which I could taste only the mince and the cocktails we ordered had a lot of sugar and taste nothing like the real onces. The starters were nice
We had a lovely 3 night stay.. The room was nice and quiet. The kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was okay but good be improved as the hot food was a bit greasy and mixed fruit was bitter. I recommend bringing your own drinking water as they charged £3.10 for a small bottle.
Totally underwhelmed by the food and service in the ala carte restaurant on new year's day. Food was poor, Luke warm, Mushrooms on a plate as a starter . No atmosphere staff were clearing and resetting tables for breakfast and wheeled the breakfast trolly past us as we ate. The young waiting staff never smiled and began removing plates etc from our table while stretching across myself and son as we were finishing coffee. It was horrendous and £160 for the experience. I dare say the bar food in the hotel would have been a better choice
