Very disappointed. I bought some gloves and bath bombs for my wife and also a necklace/earrings combination - to which I was steered by the owner. They were a little different to the kind of jewellery I normally buy her - but I thought I'd take a chance. Sadly my wife didn't like the necklace/earrings - so we went back to exchange them for something else (she loved the gloves). However, the owner said it was policy not to take back earrings - even if they hadn't been worn (or, as in this case, not having been taken out of the box). If I'd been told they were unexchangeable I would not have bought them. So we won't be going back to Aria - despite being firm believers in supporting local small businesses. Not recommended at all, I'm afraid to say. I think we could have been good customers, too. Compare this response to that of the nearby Silk and Sand where the owner could not have been more helpful in exchanging some lingerie.

Love this shop. Little or large (mostly large to be fair) you'll find something unusual to wear. The staff will give you an honest opinion too and often make a recommendation of something that you have overlooked but turns out to be perfect! Needless to say I spend too much money in here!!

Totally agree with the last review! I am a regular visitor to Rothbury and always call in on Aria, often just to have a quick look. Usually after at least half an hour and with several purchaces. I leave feeling delighted with the help given and the choices I made. Thoroughly recommend a visit. You will discover styles and colours you never thought you could wear!
