Having hired a motorhome for the first time we were travelling round west Scotland. While being novices we ran out of water. So, seeing this sight we enquired if it would be ok to fill up with water so I asked at the reception. The lady asked if we were residents when i said we weren't I was told only for residents, so we left on our way searching! Scottish hospitality eh!!
WOW! What can we say about this place! The staff were very accommodating, amazing views, and SKIPPERS BISTRO!!! Absolute treat to anyone who enters, I doubled up on the Angus beef burger and it was incredible never tasted meat like it, very nice staff in restaurant with live local music, the pitches allowed our 7.5m motor home to park on hard standing with EHU with ease would fourthly recommend!
Lovely site with beautiful views. Staff very friendly. My main complaint was the toilets and showers. It felt as though they were never cleaned. Always dirty, toilets filthy. Showers were dirty / muddy due to the weather. I’ve stayed at many other sites and found them far cleaner. If they had more regular cleaning I would give a five star. Cleaning lets it down. A couple told me they are only cleaned once a day if that. The four days I was there I never saw a cleaner. Please fix this as other than that you have a lovely site.
Loved the front bit with the water, swimming is great there too and the park is good and the caravansRooms: 5/5
We set up for a night with a campervan. They have good facilities here, nice toilets/washrooms which were warm. Nice views out onto the water. Inveraray is just a few minutes drive away.Location: 5/5
Lovely park, many of the pitches overlook the water and the mountains, making for a beautiful view to wake up to. Service was top notch, even though we arrived after 16, everything was sorted. So all we had to do was to drive to our designated spot and relax. Quiet and calming area.
Very smart and welcoming campsite. Peaceful too. I would recommend.Service: 5/5
Lovely eco friendly site by the Loch edge. Great views and quality hardstanding pitches with hook up and water supply for good price. Clean toilets & warm showers. Good wash up area. Even a dog wash! Friendly and helpful staffService: 5/5
Pleasant surroundings, lots of beautiful trees and loch view. The washroom facilities were fine but you have to walk over gravel paths to get to them which meant on a wet day the gravel was all inside tha facilities block including the showers.
We stayed for 1 night whilst travelling north to Oban. The site is quite large and comprises mainly of static caravans. The section dedicated to campervans and motor homes was spacious and most if not all pitches have a view of Loch Fyne. The facilities were very good and the nearby town of Inveraray has good amenities and excellent fish & chips! Would stay again.
