I’ve bought the phone from other argos not in yate and ask guys if I don’t need can I return in different argos. and he said ok! After 2 days I went to yate argos the staff said I have been used which I can’t return it. Well when I bought it and try it and put it back can’t return? After that I need to go to further one and return it. Yate staff not nice!
Attempted to return an item but wasn’t sure if it would be eligible for a return. The woman working was rude, impolite and snappy. Customer service was very poor. Will not be returning to this Argos again.
I bought a tv from Argos for £300 but the Tv didn’t work and you would have to press multiple buttons at a time for it to act as one press so 1 week later I take it back and they say well you must have broken it your self but we hadn’t done anything to it we turned it on and it was broken then the worker decided to call me a big fat liar and told me I was harming the business never going again and if you buy a tv from there and it’s broken you are not getting your money back because they only give you your money back even if it broken and they proceeded to swear at me in the shop in front of children !!! But how do we know it’s broken if we haven’t opened it yet
Ordered online and tried to collect via the back door. Called the Argo number and spent at least 15 minutes on the phone. Eventually put through to store and spoke to a rather rude and unhelpful manager. She explained that even though I was parked at the back of the store I would have to walk around to the front, to show them my order number. Fine by I am disabled and cant walk anymore than about 5 meteres. The really unhelpful manager made no attempt to help me. I rang the back door bell and the amazingly unhelpful manager arrived again. I asked her again for my order and rather than just serve me she decided to stand there and argue with me for 10 minutes. She was rude and arrogant and I will never shop in this store again!!! Infact I will probably never use argos again.... thanks for nothing
Went to return a product wich I never used and I was told by the manager that’s not possible as “ you can’t try and return things”. Went to a different Argos in Bristol and returned it with no problem
Staff could definitely be more friendly and help customers feel at ease, especially as it was my first time using Argos since the lock down and I wasn't entirely sure on how things would work. Staff did get my items to me promptly but I didn't like the overall atmosphere they created and won't be returning in a hurry.
Picked up and item I had ordered from home and had to wait a bit, despite there only being one other customer in the store at the time and plenty of staff milling around. About a week or two after picking up my item I received another email telling my order was ready for collection. Concerned that they may have duplicated my order I called their customer services who said it was probably just an error - didn't seem to have any idea why I was receiving another email for the same order.
We visited last Saturday and were served by a very personable man. I hadn't used Argos for ages as I hated their 'double queuing system' but they have removed the first queue by allowing us to order from the computer.
Waited 10 minutes for collection while 4 of staff was doing nothing. Then it said it's ready for collection but belt wasn't even running so I had to wait even longer. And it wasn't busy at all just couple of orders.
Very quick and efficient, they have revamped it inside since my last visit - it looks very modern and clean in there, seems to work better than it did with various different desks, - now all desks pay and collection are in one place. Much better than it was.
