Macc Argos were cowboys today. Buying gaming headset for sons b day. 3 in stock game me one that had clearly been returned , ripped box, open seal, no inner bag, refused to change =not interested . Let’s hope it’s not broken ! Avoid kids at work !
I think this has been a good arrangement having the argos stores located within a branch of the Sainsbury's supermarket and the two suit each other quite well. Argos has always suited online ordering well but picking up from here is a good way of avoiding potential delivery issues eg failed deliveries and deliveries to wrong address. They do Soda Stream which we like
Don't bother, I order a item, the order was a no show at the store, and they could not give me a firm date when it would arrive or if it would arrive, Don't take people's money if you cannot deliver, A wasted visit to the store, the staff did not seem to care,
Excellent service really impressed with the staff, the young man who served us couldn't do enough, the product was delivered exactly when they said and the delivery driver was cheerful and well mannered.
It's simply So convenient to have Argos placed inside a large supermarket. It makes shopping easier and everything from Argos is available. Staff are polite and eager to help. It's a great experience. With the combination, literally everything is available in one place which has a huge parking area. It's like an event!
Nice friendly staff. Easy to get to with its click & collect. Remember if you've ordered a biggish item don't forget to take a shopping trolley with you.
This is a small argos store set within Sainsbury. Staff were helpful. The digital catalogue is frustrating as it said the item we wanted was in store but when we clicked on it we could only order to collect later. Staff were equally frustrated with this incorrect information. The upside is that at least you can see other people reviews to help you make the right selection for you which you don't have with the paper catalogue at home. No problem with parking.
Not really a review on the Macclesfield store but more the company, it’s now not stocking most items and you have to return later in the day or next day. It’s almost like an Amazon store, as you could just go on line and order, have it delivered, though with Argos there’s a minimum spend before you get free delivery! The Argos area in Sainsbury’s is to the rear left of the store, next to toilets and cafe. Staff are very efficient and helpful, shame about the lack of stock.
Reserved two items for next day first thing. Arrived after first thing but no cages had been put away because there was only one member of staff. I was told to come back in an hour when someone else was coming in. I returned and somehow both my items had been lost in transit. Complete waste of time
