Normally a fan of Argos due to decent pricing and quick delivery, however I was left thoroughly disappointed when I attempted to return faulty wireless earbuds I had purchased the same day. The member of staff who served me was very friendly and helpful but informed me that I could not return them as they had been paired to my phone. While they were very apologetic about this, it seems like a ridiculous excuse considering you need to pair earbuds to a phone to be able to use them, and therefore identify any faults. As a result of this ridiculous policy I cannot recommend buying electronics from Argos.
Terrible service bought an item online next day delivery , didn't turn up phoned customer services next day to be told I'd recieve an update later on , no update phoned again next day to be told the item is still in the depot and might get delivered today or tomorrow , cancelled the order .
Have to say thank you to kdy argos staff today, first class sevice, sorry didn't get your names, but thank you for sorting the table and chairs out.
Having payed a visit to your Kirkcaldy Store today in Chapel Retail Park can I just say I am less than impressed, My reason being I was interested in buying a torch which I wanted to view first , Yes the torch that I had selected I got to view first before hand first one being not suitable so I asked the assistant if I could possibly view another one which she tried to do on system but clearly didn’t have much knowledge of said system as she started putting sale through and started asking me if I wanted extra guarantee then she called over one of her colleagues for help I was then told I couldn’t view second torch to which my reply was why not to be told you just can’t, I’m sure the assistant who was serving me name was Ruth and she clearly was fairly new which I can appreciate but when she started sighing out loudly I’m afraid that is the part I don’t appreciate , Maybe she was having a Bad day or nervous but certainly not a Good
Staff very rude and unproffesional. Order a lego set worth £200. Box was trashed as always from argos Asked to swap it over.... guy wasn't interested to give me any help so he told me that there is no more in stock lied to me. I've showed him on my phone that website shows there is more in stock... then he told me that rest of the boxes are also damaged and this one is the best.....very poor. Lack of customer skills they all act like they are there for punishment.....
I purchased this Giant Teddy Bear and I noticed it's Infant safe it had Cloth eyes sewn in and not glass that could easily be Dangerous in the wrong hands if the eyes came off.Its for my Great Grandchild due any day now.Price is reasonable and it's very soft.Would highly recommend this Teddy I was very impressed by my Purchase and very Pleased. Myles arrived October He's Amazing so is his Big Brother Codyboy !
Took a faulty watch back that was purchased over a year ago. Had 2 years manufacturers warranty and Argos would have been within their rights to tell me to contact manufacturer. However, they happily exchanged the watch, with no problems. Staff were freindly and their help was much appreciated. Thank you
Brilliant customer service from the guy at the jewellery counter. I wanted to try on Fitbits and had previously went to Curry's who said I couldn't - staff seemed at a loss what to do and didn't try to find a solution. Fitbit seem to design their displays so you can look at the products but you can't touch. Argos however went out of their way to find me the models I wanted and try them on. I really appreciate the time and effort they put in to help me. Thank you!
The website sayed ready for collection so whent to kirkcaldy retail park argos to collect and it wasn't there witch wasn't a problem the problem was I had to deal with a girl called kirsty who was so condescending and sarcastic that I cancelled my order and got a refund .. never going back!
I checked your opening hours online and when I saw closing time was 9pm I dashed along. I came into store tonight at 8.40 pm as my kettle had broken. It took me a few mins to find the number on the screen as it was not featured in the catalogue. Given that I was selecting a kettle that was expensive at £79.99 I asked could I see it before I purchased the item. I was abruptly informed it was too late to view items. The fact that all the till had been cashed up, I think it would have been difficult to pay for the item with cash anyway. Really disappointed with the service but thankfully I received excellent customer service along the road as Asda. If your closing hours are 9pm
