Found this store ever so useful with our click and collect parcels from ebay. The staff are really nice.
Rubbish service from the manager on shift yesterday Friday the 3rd approx 2pm also with the older lady. Immediately treated badly upon walking in as if we were criminals…. Only to return an item we had purchased a week before. We were refused returns because she didn’t know what was supposed to be including and what wasn’t and she tried to accuse us of using it and then bringing it back. Whispering to each other etc it was really pathetic. Drove to the next nearest argos and they accepted the return with no issues at all. It was an £800 camera. How can it not be returned when it’s in the box as it came with all the things included?
Travelled from Banbury to Daventry to get a particular shelving unit for my Mum. Couldn't have been happier with the service. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a very heavy two part item , and the young chap met me at the back door , and carried both items to my car and loaded them in for me. Thank you for a great service. Will be back to shop there again.
A fantastic place
Really great customer service. Was purchasing a bbq at the time and they were really kind at offering me help carry it to my car and making sure it wasn't too heavy for me and that I could manage it. Fast service too, I had reserved the item and just walked in No queue and paid for it, 30 seconds if that I was with my bbq.
What a joke this store is!!!! At least 50 min before the closing time I have been told that I simply cannot click and collect at the same day. I'll have to return some other day. Way to go Argos that's how you loose customers.
Terrible, too complex, not enough information given. Better to shop online with Amazon where you can explore more detail and get customer feedback. Argos will soon be doomed like many other high street retailers. Also many goods not available. Far better to shop from home!!
What a dive, this place is showing its age and its not looking good for it. The depression starts as you enter the multi story car park and only lifts when you finally leave. One positive point is that it is only a short trip to the local tip so you can drop off your purchases from B&M and pound land on the way home saving a trip the next day.
Good store needs an upgrade as you can’t find many electronics in the book as if it had the computer ones you could search to see if they had it or a store nearby has it. You could also be able to order for delivery on it.
Wanted a folding stool but could not find in catalogue. Asked assistant who found it in "laundry". Really useful.....item wanted not in stock, but eventually sourced in Screwfix, much cheaper. Not a good experience!
