Went with a friend and ordered a mix of hot and cold meze 4 and a soup. I thought I would order more after but the portions were very generous and above all very good! What a pity as last week I heard this place had closed a month before. What a loss for our neighbourhood. A couple of years ago I had been with my kids and a long-time friend visiting from France. The food was good quality, in good quantity and at very reasonable prices. Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the food and place.
Delicious sharing food. The set menu comes in multiples of 2 people, but with an odd numbered party, get the -1 options, as it will be more than enough to feed everyone and then some! The non-alcoholic cocktails are beautifully presented and very tasty also!
Starters impressed more than the main, particularly the chicken wings and batata harra pictured. Pitta accompanying the hummus was dry and I think the hummus itself could have been more flavourful. We booked a table of 14 people in February for July 20th. We received a confirmation email from Argan Restaurant showing our table of 14 is confirmed. Argan then decide to send a cancellation email a day before the event on 19th July. We tried to call them no one picks up the call. Don't waste your time booking a table here! This caused us huge amounts of stress trying to secure a table elsewhere the day before. What a joke. Avoid.
Excellent authentic food with great, friendly customer service. Definitely the best local spot for Middle Eastern but it’s also Moroccan food. We ordered the meshwe shared platter for two - and it’s the perfect amount of food for two.

Staff were very friendly. I ordered the Chicken Tagine and it was simply delicious! The bread and dips for starters were great too. The only thing to be improved was that we had to ask three separate waiters for the bill over the space of 20 minutes before it finally came but let's put that down to the fact they were busy. I'll be back!
I visited on Sunday evening, and the food was amazing. I had lamb tagine, and it was delicious. Friendly and helpful staff making every moment to remember.Food: 5/5
We visited Argan and had an average experience. The service was good, food was average but overpriced. We ordered chicken pastilla, soup, chicken shawarma and lamb shank. All the food was presented nicely on the plates. The chicken pastilla was nicely flavoured but we found the rest of our food to be quite bland. Chicken shawarma was £16 alone which we thought was greatly overpriced. Unfortunately we would not recommend this restaurant.
