DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS CHINESE.. ordered food £20+ worth and after an hour called up to check on it was on the way to be told I’ve already had my food! After 10 mins of them calling the driver they said it was delivered to a white door my doors red and having ring doorbell footage so can prove it hasn’t been delivered they said they need to check and we might yes might get a refund. I will never order from them again aslong as I’ve got air in my lungs. Terrible service stay away. Would give it zero stars if I could. Rubbish
We are vegetarian and ordered a range of vegetarian options from here, however, there were chicken pieces in the curry dish we ordered. Will not be using again and will report to food standards agency. Would give 0 stars if I was able to select it. Just to respond to Arden Oak - I don't think you quite grasp the seriousness of what you did. We don't eat meat for religious reasons, and we actually started eating the food with the meat in. After telling you on the phone numerous times that we are vegetarians and double checking ingredients this is pure incompetence. I appreciate mistakes happen, but offering to replace the dish after what happened was never going to rectify any issue.
I used arden oak for a few years .always lovely food .hot fresh..but last few times food has gone down in rating.spring roll wasnt fresh Very bland .chicken and white mushroom also bland....dont know if they changed chef...but definitely not as lovely as it use to be...need to find somewere else...
We ordered from Arden oak this evening when we cut open the chicken it wasn’t cooked. We called but staff wasn’t helpful. Won’t be ordering again!
Don't bother! Usually really good, placed a order for collection, told ten minutes, waited a good 45 minutes , orders done for delivery, orders taken from walk ins and done straight away, walked out in the end! Parking: Good, thank god as waited 45 minutes for
The munch box from here is insane the staff are lovely and I couldn’t recommend a chance more , we always go for the much box option C and that usually feeds the four of us with added sides of chips &chicken balls
Food was waiting for us to collect and hot when I got home. Would recommend highly.
I have lived locally and used this Chinese for 25 years and I must say since lockdown finished the food has become progressively worse. Thought I’d give them another chance, however the food was tasteless, the sweet and sour sauce tasted nothing like sweet and sour it tasted off the chicken balls were soggy and cold and the noodles veg etc were soggy with no taste. What a waste of hard earned £20 two mouthfuls and it was binned. Very disappointed still hungry!! a pot noodle will be 100 times better!!!
Never had a problem with the food....until tonight!! Food arrived over half an hour late it is busy, i understand, though a message or phone call would have been nice to let me know...and when the food did turn up, it was cold. Probably won't order again, which is disappointing as this used to be one of the best.
Food was great the first time I ordered but the last order was bland, I called the restaurant to ask if they could send out another 2 salt and chilli boxes to swap as they were bland and the women told me they’re not spicy because customers complained they were too spicy, which I thought was ridiculous. The new boxes they sent out were just as bland.
