We went to Arcade Club Leeds first and it was hands down one of the greatest days out ever. It takes us over two hours to get there and it takes us over two hours to get here too. I don't think we'd make the trip again. Look, there's a huge variety of games. The staff do their best. Toilets are clean. But there's a long wait for food and unlike Leeds this place feels very cramped when busy. The chairs in the food area look pretty tired and old. The deal-breaker for me, however, was that I came to enjoy a large selection of pinball machines. More than half of them were broken or in need of repair flippers sticking, no pinballs, etc. and the majority are poorly lit. They just feel very unloved. I did get to play Godzilla for the first time which was brilliant but everything else I came for was bust. Parking is fine / food is reasonably priced. If you're not arsed about what you play and don't mind the place being busy at peak times, I think you'll struggle to find somewhere better to spend your time. But I felt pretty let down, and I wouldn't come back.
As part of my mate's stag weekend we'd made sure to visit the arcade club for some retro competitive fun, a group of 10 fellas between ages of about 30 - 50, from the booking experience up to leaving the place I cannot give any less than a maximum rating.nnAt £18 per adult with the promise of unlimited access to one of the biggest selection of arcade games, simulators, consoles, pinball tables, puzzles, PCs, VR etc. between the hours of 15:00 & 23:00 on a Saturday, this was an offer I could not refuse.nnOn entry we'd had no problems getting in and being offered help getting to know the place - I'd pre-booked so just had to scan my QR code; job done.nnThe ground floor has the most modest selection of arcade games, but it provides a great taste of what's on offer on the upper floors, and these additional 3 floors proved to provide unrivalled offerings to suit every gamers most ambitious dreams - they had everything from classic pinball, to XBOX games, to multiplayer PC setups, classic shooters & racers; and all in amazing condition.nnThe staff were brilliant - helpful and professional... Even the bar staff jumped in on one of our inside jokes just lifting their already great service with a personal touch... Speaking of the bar, the beer prices were more than fair, I'd say very competitive for such a venue.nnEverybody had a brilliant time, playing solo and multiplayer, had good drinks and a laugh with the staff... I hope this business carries on with great strength as what they are providing is amazingly valuable to adults, teens, families etc of all backgrounds. I will be returning and want to thank your staff for completing our great weekend.nnBenjamin
Fantastic entertainment for all the family. Places like this are all about expectations, if you're expecting Alton towers then you'll be disappointed, if you think there won't be the odd queue then you won't be happy. For those who have realistic expectations they're in for a treat. There's a massive variety of games available from all different eras and the facilities are clean and well maintained. There are toilets on every floor and they were all well looked after. It was quite busy on the day we visited but we were able to have time on all the games we wanted. The one small downside was the wait for food just over an hour and a halfand there are limited tables to sit and eat. Access to the car park is a little tight but not a big issue and the overflow carpark is a little unkept but again not an issue. The outside of the building looks more like a disused industrial unit but don't let this put you off the interior is fine. This might not be everyone's cup of tea but if you enjoy arcade games, especially ones that are a little retro then get yourself down to the arcade club and enjoy.
Absolutely loved it here, taking our kids back to our era and they loved it we spent all day here only downside was the food area could do with being made bigger as there was a lot of people stood up waiting for tables but that has in no way put us off.highly recommend you take a trip to this place you won’t regret it
They did a private event for us which we booked, it was brilliant. Will be back for sure thank you to all of the staff.
