Attended the surgery as an emergency as my own practice had no dentist on site. Dealt with as if I was a patient and had excellent service. Thanks to Gemma
What a joke this place is... We waited 5 weeks for our daughters to get an appointment only to get a text message 6 hours before the appointment saying i needed to call them and rebook and wait again, why so they can do the same and cancel on us again! I had to book the day off from work in order to be home to take them, i tried calling them back and was in position 3 on the phone which didn't move up. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE OR LIKE ME YOU COULD BE WAISTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY They even had the nerve to turn around and say they have people cancel on them so this is "Quid pro quo" what a dam nerve. Get yourselve another dentist ASAP. Just read the reviews and see for yourself
After reading some of the previous reviews I felt that I must write the following. I have been a patient at this practise for over 50 years, long before it became Apple. I and my family have had many dentists over that period of time and have never had a bad experience. Since Apple took over the practise my wife and I have had several different dentists, have met numerous nurses and reception staff, all who have been friendly, polite and proficient. As patients we have always received excellent services as have my extended family, my wife and I have also recommended neighbours and friends to the practise who have also been very pleased with the service and treatment they have received. We are only too happy to recommend this practise
I have never had a good experience at a dentist before coming to Apple. Every time has been so wonderful and I am a nervous patient which is always taken into consideration. The dentists and the nurses are very comforting and it makes for a very pleasant experience. Having treatments now doesn’t make me worry and I would recommend Apple to anyone.
Dentists here come up with any excuse not to perform the scale and polish that we are entitled to as part of the NHS treatment, and push us for private care with their hygienist. Even though gum disease is diagnosed, they refuse to do their job and make you wait 3 months! for a private appointment. Not recommended.
I have been going here since I moved to the area nearly 10 years ago. I had a lovely dentist but when he left he was replaced with a different dentist. He would criticise me and tell me off a grown woman for ‘not looking after my teeth’ when I was doing everything I could. I told the practice I was having problems with him and they continued to set appointments up with him. I stopped going and moved and started at a different dentist. I have now moved back to the area and called about transferring back and was informed that the dentist I used to have had left. Great! And they would contact me about transferring back to them. I waited 6 months and wasn’t contacted, I left it so long due to COVID and thought that new clients wouldn’t be a priority at the moment. I’ve recently been having problems with my teeth and phoned today to enquire about when I can come in and was informed that I’m no longer allowed at the winterbourne branch because I ‘didn’t turn up to my appointments’ when I was a teenager due to the dentist and I having problems, that they knew about, may I add. I’m registering with a different company that take the client seriously when they say they don’t like the way they’re being treated by the dentist!
I usually come here whenever I have an appointment, and didn't really have any problems. But after an incident involving a person I knew who also came here, I think that they should focus on what the patient's issue actually is, as the 'friend' had an issue with their jaw, but the dentist said everything was fine and dismissed her, instead of atleast listening to what her issue was, even if the dentist couldn't help they should atleast acknowledge it and suggest who the patient should contact if it's a problem

Came here for an emergency appointment initially. Get assigned to a dentist who I'm then informed only works Mondays making personal logistics a nightmare. Told I need a tooth removed but he failed to remove it completely. Left with an infection and then made to pay to see a different dentist just to review the failed extraction because my dentist only works Mondays or I can suffer in agony until he next has a spot free on a Monday. Still need to see their specialist to complete the failed extraction but nobody has bothered to follow this up
In 2007-13 the dentist in charge of this practice was my daughter's dentist. He criticised her alot so we changed to another dentist there. His sick attitude has left my daughter traumatised and paranoid about her teeth. They need to review their ethics.
