Went to buy 2 screen protectors, needed an appointment to get into the store, there were zero customers and 8 members of staff and 2 doormen. I was summoned by one Apple employee, then passed to another who led me to one of the many "geniuses", after 20 minutes of feeling like a baton in a relay race, I was told they don't have any in stock. Also you're then told to immediately leave, as you are not allowed to browse. By the way they don't have iPhones, iPads, Apple TVs or any Mac's in stock. The one thing they should have in stock, should be product accessories and they can't even do that. So why even open the store? Is to give these self righteous and pretentious employees a life purpose? At least the cladding on the walls are nice.
I visited the store today as my phone had stopped working. I didn't have an appointment but was given one while in the shop. Wait was approx 2 hours. All staff were extremely efficient and friendly. A really helpful Genius checked my phone and discovered that my Insurance had sent me a defective replacement phone.. He wrote a detailed report for me to take the matter up with them. Very grateful for his expertise! Thank you!
Amazing service! My phone needed a new back so they took the old back off and added a new one but the phone wasn’t backed up so I thought I lost all my photos and vids but a service call at 9AM the following day lead to getting put through to the apple store Churchill square were I gave them a reference number we’re they found the back of the phone ready for depot were I recovered the photos and six hours and 3 places having my phone backed up to later we finally did it when the store was closing thank you to all three employees that used there shifts that day to help me thank you
The consumer service is garbage at this store. Plenty of people doing nothing and if you ask for help they simply can’t help you. The guy is taking care of AirPods boxes and he cannot help me. It’s hilarious if not sad. Not the first time I had an awful experience in this store. Very bad! I just hope that I never have to come back there.
We wanted to buy a laptop so a new lady and her mentor lets put it that way came to advise us… the guy was very patronising towards us and the girl so we decided to get help from someone else. We were then helped by Ted or was it Terry? to who I wish I could give 10 stars. Such a lovely man, with great advice and professionalism ! Few days later we came back to actually buy the laptop and Ted was here again and remembered us. We were then helped by a new girl called Ava and she was really lovely and was clearly happy to be there !
Terrible service. I took my phonein for a new battery. I was asked to wait about 15 minutes which is fine as I didn’t have an appointment. After 15 minutes I received a text asking me to go to the genius counter which I did. I stood there for 5 minutes being completely ignored. I went and asked a member of staff and was told I had to go to the person I originally spoke to. I found them and they took me to the counter where I was introduced to somebody else who ran some diagnostics and said they could replace my battery for £49. I accepted and was told that they could do in about 2-3 hours time. I didn’t want to hang around that long so booked for my replacement battery to be fitted a few days later. When I returned I was given the same quote and was told that they could do it later that and that it would a couple of hours to carry out this very simple job. When I asked why it takes so long I was told that there are a lot of repairs to do and only so many engineers. If you reserved a table in a restaurant for 7pm and was told that your food would be served in 2-3 hours as there were a lot of customers and only so many chefs. What would you do? I walked out. I have booked my phone in elsewhere and have been quoted £29 and told it will be ready after 30 mins. I have received fantastic customer service from Apple of the phone in the past but I will never go this store again. Worse than bt!
I came to Monday to buy an iphone 14pro. They said that he was not there, he had to come on Friday, he asked if I could download it online? they answered no, just come and buy it. Then it was on Thursday, the answers are the same. online? I asked you about this, to which they answered that we couldn’t help me. The result was spent money on the road, spent on parking, was left without a purchase. Next time I’ll go to another store where the sellers are adequate. Last month I bought from you for 4000 pounds. If you do not value customers, so I tell my friends so
I brought the new iPods a few months ago from the Apple Store in Brighton and they have already gone faulty. So I took them back to the store and loads of staff hanging around together just chatting, but they were not willing to help me solve my issue in a reasonable and acceptable timeframe. I either wanted swap them for a pair that works or get a refund, but the only process they have is to wait for an appointment with one of their a ‘Genius’s’ to even have a conversation about the options and issue. Which I couldn’t hang around for a further 45 mins for an appointment, who does nowadays! What has happened to Apple, Customer Service and having a more up-to date and modern process. Not even the manager was bothered and was happy to give me a customer support number to call and see if there was a more quicker and reasonable way of helping me. Very disappointed in Apple!!
Amazing service. Aaron was determined to help me access my music which was on a 10 year old ipod. Although he advised me of more modern solutions, there was no hard sell. Despite no longer stocking the charger or cable, he somehow managed to get it working again. I was so impressed by Aaron and all the staff. Thankyou Claire
The staff at the Apple store in Brighton who were working Monday 26th Sept and Friday 30th Sept went truly above and beyond and were utterly fantastic. I'm a young and disabled student and my MacBook, which is essential for my studies, suddenly died and would not turn back on, no matter what I tried. After a panicked call to Apple support I managed to get a next day appt in Brighton. The store was so busy and I really struggled with my hidden disability but the whole Genius team who interacted with me were so kind and accommodating, from the person who checked me in to the Genius who examined my laptop. They got me sat down and found me someone to look over my Mac and go over my concerns with me. The member of staff who sat down with me was so patient and explained step by step exactly what he was doing. Unfortunately my Mac had to be taken in for further assessment but the team were great - they assured me no repairs would be done without contacting me first to ask if I was okay with the cost of the repair and the timeframe. I was very well informed of the whole process - I've decided to save a bit of money for the repair and was able to choose to pick up my MacBook the very same day as the update call, and schedule the repairs for a window in the future that suits me better. When I came back today Friday the staff who interacted with me were just as fantastic as Monday - the very kind member of staff who retrieved my laptop was so patient with all of my questions about the damage and the estimated repairs plus the terms and conditions. Getting to Brighton and the store was actually quite difficult for me but the service I received was worth the hassle of travelling there twice. The team absolutely deserve recognition for their excellent customer service and compassion as it is not very often I have a positive experience in a busy retail environment, especially if I am there to fix an issue with a product.
