Just want to give Ellie a massive massive thank you for practical saving my life was nervous about doing a bra fitting and she made me feel so comfortable and confident and helped me pick out some amazing Bras I finally feel comfortable and very sexy knowing I'm now in the best sizes after years of them always changing. Can I give a big congratulations on the Birmingham store for getting the welcoming, manners and customers service right with all the ladies working on Black Friday. . What a lovely experience
I went to get some good fitting bras and the staff were so helpful. It was quite busy but one lady still found time to help me out and give me advice, and everyone else there seemed very friendly and easy to approach.
No diversity and the attitude the manager had was quite telling. Everytime I’ve been in the store I hadn’t seen any POC working there, when I gave general feedback to the manager whilst being with a friend, another colleague who wasn’t a part of the conversation interjected by saying ‘we have a few poc actually’, like we’re some props, which was quite humorous too as there was only white women in the store that day as well as all the other times I had come in ‘a few’ people of colour working there may or may not be true, however the overwhelming majority is white women.
Staff member was weird and making me and my boyfriend feel uncomfortable. We were in the adult section having a look and she comes and says something along the lines off if we need help, and we politely said we are okay thank you just having a look, but then she just stayed there? I picked up a product and said oh that looks good and said the price and shes there listening saying yeah thats a good product. Every time we picked something up to read it I feel her turn around and look. We felt so uncomfortable, we even stopped browsing for a bit and were talking about something completely unrelated and shes still there. Look, I get there may be instances where people steal or be inappropriate I don’t bloody know as I noticed there were no batteries in the products out of packaging , but you still shouldn’t make people feel uncomfortable by standing a literal foot away from them breathing down their necks. There were others that came to the same area and she didn’t go stand by them. Don’t like to always make things a race issue, but when I’m the only black person in the shop and its me thats being watched, what else could it be?
Great range of toys that I enjoy a lot
The lingerie was really nice and affordable. BUT I was shopping in the sale section and I picked up two matching pairs of lingerie, one black knickers that I picked up said £3 so I was really happy. Got to the counter and the lady told me it was £6, I said no they all say £3. The manager then walked over and said “none of them have £3 stickers on them” like she was trying to say that I was lying. When I walked back over to that section I saw £3 on the knickers I picked up. I was so upset with how she spoke to me and I won’t be returning if she’s there.
Shown a lady a product I wanted shown me where it was and put it behind the counter for me, The nicest people ever and so respectful, would shop again
For a small shop there's a super varied selection of stock. Lingerie comes in pretty much any size and colour and the marketing is really diverse and eye catching. They have a great section filled with accessories and toys from playful to hardcore, and a group of knowledgeable and greatly un-threatening staff that aren't pushy but are always happy to help. Love this place.
I have to say the staff are absolutely amazing in this place. When me and my girlfriend went in we where a bit nervous but the staff completely put us at ease. Especially one guy.... I'm not sure of his name... was amazing, he managed to put us at ease and up sell a product to us that by ourselfs we'd have never imagined buying. However I'm so glad we did cuz we will never look back. Sex life improved and a great job done.
