The staff were polite and we have no issues with them. However, we bought an expensive, almost £700, dress which needed minimal alterations. The staff recommended their local and seemingly "professional" dressmaker. That was the worst mistake we have experienced in many, many years. She asked for more money a day before we were to pick the dress only to find extremely poor workmanship, she failed to rectify it twice and we will have to take it to another seamstress to try and correct the mess she left us with. The shop owner could not do anything and in total we paid £750 only to hear "I am sorry". In total we would have travelled more than 250 miles to take a very expensive dress which might not be worn, especially it is for the mother of the groom. Be careful.
