The message below was already sent to my move manager, Natalia, and her senior, Darryl, as I truly believe they should have the opportunity to rectify the problems I have faced before writing this - they just ignored me. I have been ignored, misled, lied to, and overcharged. Quite honestly, the poorest service you could imagine! I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent handling of my shipment and subsequent communications. My experience with Anglo Pacific has raised serious concerns regarding transparency, customer service, and billing accuracy. Hidden Charges: I have been charged an unexpected quarantine/customs fee with the partner they use in Australia which, according to AP’s terms, should not have been my responsibility - it’s a very big grey area to the point that to prove that AP was not responsible, they were relying on the wording ‘inspection’ on the invoice I received from their partner. At no point was I informed of this potential charge even though this is mandatory to get through customs/quarantine when exporting to Australia - which AP state is included in the initial costs. Anglo's terms and conditions regarding what is and isn’t covered are alarmingly vague, leaving customers like myself vulnerable to unexpected costs. I have discussed this with the external partner they use here in Australia and they, along with other companies based on poor reviews, have confirmed this is a common dissatisfaction from AP customers and isn’t the first time people haven’t been made aware - again, alarming that this is still happening. Overcharged: Furthermore, there has been a significant discrepancy in the cubic feet measurement of my shipment. I was assured along the way that if my shipment's quoted amount was in fact over or under, further charges or refunds would apply. Even though the end merchant confirmed that the shipment was 430 cubic feet, when I brought this up with Darryl, he just stated that the shipment was 490 cubic feet. However, when I brought this to Darryl's attention further, his response was not only unhelpful but also came across as passive-aggressive. He implied that if we did not accept that it’s 490, he would inform the partner here in Australia and request the charge to be adjusted unfavorably, increasing from 430 to 490 cubic feet. This approach is unacceptable and unprofessional. I request that you see a copy of the paperwork submitted from Anglo Pacific to Conroy’s partner used in Australia that verifies the correct measurement of 430 cubic feet. Based on this evidence, which has been sent to my move manager and the manager Darryl Sharp, I demand an immediate refund for the overcharged amount. Paid Insurance: The paperwork I have received a copy of for my shipment with the shipping partner here in Australia also states there is no insurance cover. I have paid for insurance to cover everything, including mould and mildew. This whole process has given me so much stress emotionally and physically. The lack of customer care and the way they use their obvious upper hand, which is that they have all your personal belongings, is disgusting! Your prompt attention to resolving these issues will be greatly appreciated. I expect a response within five business days, outlining the steps you will take to correct these errors and ensure such issues do not recur in the future. From a customer point of view, this is really poor service and I will be taking this further if not fully rectified. My expectation for the resolution as a MINIMUM would be: A confirmation of the change to your T&Cs for export from the UK to Australia so future customers aren’t misled, clearly stating what is and isn’t covered. A refund for the charge from your partner company as I feel this is unfair = $670 A refund for the 60 cubic feet that I have overpaid for.
We’ve had so many issues I don’t know where to begin, but most importantly we discovered they’re not registered with an ombudsman which means if you’re outside the UK and have issues, you have practically no protection. 9 months on we’ve lost a fridge, paid more for the shipment than what it should have cost, still waiting on a refund payment which was initially offered 6 months ago and the customer service is shocking. They also lied to us on a number of occasions and a lot of our belongings were poorly packed and damaged. Avoid at all costs.
Do not use this company. I arranged to have two pieces of furniture and two boxes shipped from UK to Australia. They lost 1 box in transit and never paid for the lost insured items. Quick update 16th April 2024 I was informed yesterday that the box has been found 10months after being reported lost. It was delivered yesterday.
Probably the worst international removals company that I’ve ever worked with. Having picked up the boxes in august 2022, They took nearly 7 months for the shipment to be delivered, which finally happened in February 2023, though at this point a £1500 queen tempur mattress went conveniently missing. The London office blamed everyone else except themselves. Daryl sharp and Katie Pavlov from Anglo pacific and Jenna Sweeney from centry services insurance company were the key people involved, and emails kept going back and forth, but to no avail. Neither the mattress nor the insurance payment came through. Eventually I got exasperated and messaged the ceo Stephen gray on LinkedIn but of course got no response. I would strongly urge everyone not to use this company unless they do not want to see their cargo ever. Terrible experience and would never use them again. By the way, their charges were close to £1500 for transporting the cargo, so not cheap by any means! I suspect that the mattress might have been even sold by Anglopacific and the insurance company centry services may be in collusion with them!
My experience with Mr Antonio Mazza was just delightful. It was so easy and collaborative journey because when comes to moving is always stressful and difficult to trust someone with your personal things. He just makes me feel that everything will be fine and I can feel that I can trust him because he knows that he was doing which makes everything even better. Thank you Antonio for everything you did, I will be always thankful for your kindness and professional support.

Don’t use Anglo Pacific. They quoted me 8 weeks to deliver my cargo from UK to Bahrain. I paid them on 29th January 2024 and yet to revive my cargo. And I paid premium pick up service too. Even they don’t know when I will get my cargo yet.
I wanted a quote to ship my personal effects to Madrid, Spain and I spoke to a lovely girl called Elaii, she was very helpful and bubbly. Great customer service. I would definitely recommend. Thanks Anglo team
I can’t praise this company enough! Huge support from start to finish. I had no clue what to do as I was doing this for my parents and packing their caravan up for Australia. It all seemed so very complicated but Maria helped me every step of the way and had so much patience! The packers arrived on time and were very friendly and efficient. Maria updated me that the container is on its way now to Australia. There is a link I can use to check its progress too! Fantastic service recommend 100%
After seeing all the negative posts we were really apprehensive about the move and considered backing out of booking them. However we proceeded and were nothing but pleased with their service to help us move from the UK to the USA. We used the full packing service and everything was packed beautifully at one end, arrived in perfect condition at the other end and on time. Their quote was also very competitive. Highly recommend this company and their partnership Schumacher in the US.
