A bit overpriced for what it is. I can have more or less the same for half of the price in other restaurants. The service is good, the place is a bit small so if you go in a pick time you’ll have to queue for a long period. Food is okay But as I said, nothing really special.Recommended dishesTapas, Patatas Bravas, Fried Squid
This place is ok. Nothing to rave about but not terrible either. Some of the dishes are good, but some average and quite small for the price. Bottles of wine from £20, pint of San Miguel £6 Meal cost £100 for 2 and the place is popular. Pity the owner won’t pay the £9.99 a month for Spotify so that his Spanish playlist isn’t interrupted by annoying adverts during your meal.
Met up for a quick bite with a friend, on a Friday night, with no booking needed at the time, accomodated to some delicious Andalucian tapas, washed down with sangriaFood: 4/5
Found this place last minute as it was near our theatre. It's a small place with some steep stairs downstairs there are a couple of tables upstairs but we were found a table straight away. We advised the staff one of us was gluten intolerant and they brought as a completely separate, albeit handwritten, gluten free menu. All the food was tasty and the prices were reasonable, especially for the centre of the West End. Dietary restrictions: Separate gluten free menu shares many items on regular menu. Cannot comment on any cross-contamination in kitchen but no post - gluten symptoms were experienced so seems to have been kept separate
You’d think choosing to dine in what looks like a small independent restaurant would afford you some degree of decent service and food, however this was not the case. Most dishes were lukewarm and I had to request they be warmed up despite them only just having been served. The Albondigas are the worst I’ve ever had, tasted like store bought meatballs drenched in a flavourless tomato paste. Being seated upstairs meant that we had to go down the stairs to get the waiters attention a few times to be served. Saw other groups get frustrated and leave before asked for drinks. Once the food was served, the flies came out and so we spent most of the meal swatting them away. I will only reconsider in future if they’re under new management. Wheelchair accessibility: As someone who isn’t a wheelchair user I can’t even imagine a scenario in which a wheelchair user would be comfortable dining in this restaurant.
What a dreadful experience. This was booked because it was a stones throw from the theatre we were visiting in London. Dreadful service waiting 15 mins until seated to ask for our drink choices and also dreadful food. Wish I had a photo of the grey chicken that was boiled in oil and the tasteless croquettes. Told the staff the food was dreadful and we hated the experience and we were still expected to pay full price absolute rip off for a tiny side plate and we're given a customer loyalty card for next time we visited! The table next to us ordered patatas bravas which looked like better value for money in terms of quantity, but also looked like tinned tomatoes thrown over spuds, so hardly appetising. All 3 of us who ate here contracted food poisoning after. Save your pennies, go the the chain Bar Estilo for much better tapas that's seasoned and doesn't make you ill.
Had tasty tapas as our pre theatre meal. It was small and cosy downstairs which was a relief given how cold it was the December. We had cut it fine timewise but the restaurant managed to get our food out in time. You'll need to book to guarantee a spot.
Just average spanish food. Nice staff - clean - good service but really nothing very authentic. We tried a variety of tapas: patatas brava they were exceptionally boring; eggplant it was rather Italian; tortilla and shrimp in garlic - pretty good for me, my friend who’s wife is Spanish, thought it terrible. And no bread, even when we asked. The wine was okay and the place was toasty warm!
Great little spot for theatre goers. Lovely flavours and varied menu options.Food: 4/5
This is a great, little neighborhood tapas restaurant. We went for very traditional tapas dishes and each one was delivered quickly and with great quality. This was a very enjoyable dinner and was reasonably priced.Food: 5/5
