I had the pleasure of receiving outstanding assistance from Sister Aisha P at the Luton shop recently. From the moment I stepped in, Aisha P greeted me with a warm smile and a genuine eagerness to assist. What stood out was her warm blend of welcome and approachability. She made the entire shopping experience enjoyable. Her enthusiasm for helping me find the perfect clothes for Eid was evident, and she went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with my choices. Despite the busy environment, she never made me feel rushed or overlooked. Her genuine passion for helping others shines through in every interaction, making her an asset to the Luton Shop team. Alhamdulillah. I left feeling confident and satisfied with what I bought all thanks to Aisha's exceptional service. I purchased two Abayas from this shop, both for my daughters, which cost me £50 each. They wore this for the first time on Eid and both abayas are damaged. I dare not go back to the shop, the customer service from some of the people there is not nice. I will however say that Aisha, the sister that helped me choose the Abayas was amazing. She really went above and beyond.
This happened awhile ago but it bothers me so much that I will still write up my experience. We are a volunteer community group in Luton supporting new muslims. It was Ramadan and a sister newly took shahada and she didn’t have much so I went to Amson to purchase a Eid gift. I decided to splash out and get a fancy Abaya to wear on her first Eid. I explained to the male shop attendant that I was worried about size, but was reassured it wouldn’t be problem we could change if the size was wrong. So I paid £60 for the abaya. A few days later I returned with the new sister because the size was wrong and the lady on the till was very unhelpful, I asked her to assist the new sister to find something suitable but she told us to just look on the racks. We couldn’t find anything suitable, the returned abaya was in perfect condition unworn, but she refused to return the money. She would only present me with the tiniest till receipt valid for 3 months as credit. I told her I wasn’t happy about it, that it would be difficult to return, but she told me that’s their policy. I am a working mum and I run a voluntary support group, I am very busy person so I didn’t get to return in the 3 months So the shop has my money and the Abaya and I had to spend additional money in another shop to buy the sister an Eid gift. This is such poor service. especially the example to the new sister who had just embraced Islam, this is how Muslims conduct business. Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam has said that “Almighty Allah’s mercy descends on one who is gentle at the time of buying, selling, and requesting payment.” Reference: Jami at-Tirmidhi I won’t be back and do not recommend this shop
I will go to to the shop today. I asked help for find something he showed me sign language but i cant find that thing I went back to him and tell him I couldn't find and asked for help and he said you are talking on the phone so you don't see anything and can't find anything this is relly disappointed and rude . Its no point i m on fone call he have no right to talk me on this way they have to help popel but they are so rude I will not go to this shop after today and also I will tell all my family and frinds about this and tell them don't go on amsons shop.
Overall good place to shop for religious items. Such a variety of items to choose from. However some staff members could be a bit more honest when helping you decide which clothing is appropriate. I purchased a 2 piece abaya. When i tried on the abaya, I asked if it was OK, and she told me it was. Came home and tried it on again, only for it to be dragging at the back.
Lovely shop has all sorts of Abayas. I needed a breathable one for Hajj and managed to purchase 2 suitable types for the heat. They also have a very good collection of islamic books for both adults and children alike. Impressed!
Visited the shop last weekend. As always, I found the items I was in need of. The shop is always tidy, with good quality items available and of a wide range. Particularly the Hijab range, Masha’Allah I always find a unique colour for occasions! As a regular from Herts over the years, since the expansion of the shop, I’ve now become very disappointed with the customer service. The younger generation running the shop do not greet you with a Salaam nor smile. No basic practicing of Islam or approachable attitude within such a shop. The young male is always miserable/aloof & actually makes me feel uneasy. And the young female seems to have a sharp attitude about her. Not friendly at all. Again, the female served me at the till without the basic ‘salaam’, or even a smile. She looked up afterwards, expecting me to say something but what do you say to someone so cold lol?! Please bring in older employees with mannerisms & the bother to smile, for the weekends.
They need to improve their online service that's why only 2 star. 1. Confirmation email of your order, they don't communicate at all 2. They don't send you any invoice with details of your order so there is no record of what did you order. For example I ordered a 2 piece in rose colour and they sent me black and now I can't complain about it as I don't have any proof. My advice is that if you want to order anything take a screenshot of your order before you leave the website. 3. No information either of how long it will takes to get your order.
Large choice for male and females. Lovely home decor as well as accessories and things for kids. Parking is okay too as there are two car parks on the street
Excellent range of Islamic books, ladies n gents wear, jewellery, perfume and ornaments. One of my favourite Islamic shops. Quick update August 2023 - customer service has dropped significantly. Can sense arrogance amongst the staff. Been made to feel like an inconvenience even though I have spent hundreds of pounds here. Staff need a reality check and come down to earth
