Ampthill Fireplaces have just installed a log burning stove for us and I could not recommend them more highly. In the showroom they were friendly and informative but never pushy. The installation was clean and professional and the fitters came exactly when they said they would come. We have always felt informed and we have always felt as though our custom really mattered. A top quality service and top quality experience throughout. I just wish that it would get cold now so that I can use the stove!

Mogul F 100 DE stoveand surround installation completed on 13 Jan 2018. Very happy. Ampthill fireplaces really know their products from the showroom right through to the two very professional young lads doing the installation. I felt consulted and involved throughout the process. And the attention to detail and the finish is excellent. So very pleasing the know we went with the right people.

I’ve given 4 stars overall but I think to be fair I need to split the review in to two parts.   I’ll start with the end result, simply amazing and I would happily give this side of things 5 stars.  The quality of the work by both the builder and plasterer showed not only their expertise but their attention to detail.   The one part of the experience that really let things down was the issues we found when it came to communication, this side of things I would at best give 3 stars.  The edited highlights are not confirming the dates the work would be carried out (had to CC in the director before we got a response), never got a rework of the quote when we spotted that they assumed we would want a duel fuel despite us asking for a wood burner and saying we didn’t want to burn coal.   So overall I was happy we went with them but feel they need to address the communication issues.

very very pleased with our new log burner first visited shop very friendly lots of information about various stoves arranged home survey good communication the workmen were tidy professional punctual extremely pleased with all aspects of work carried out

Supplied and Installed a log burning stove and fireplace surround. Had three quotes not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. A top quality product installation and service. Thank you very much highly recommended.
