Nice location, parking very limited. Club house very small. 400m walk to pitch, felt like we were in the 1920's with the 'terrace'. Local Derby needed tickets, didn't know that. Check the web site.

What a fabulous community club, old school, and playing championship standard rugby, totally recommend the double cheese burger...  Totally worth the away trip.....nnSecond time there today, and yes, the above still stands..   Also a nice grass pitch which took a lot of effort to look after over the summer with many helping in this process....

Sun was shining, great atmosphere lovely crowd And staff. Match was great, there is a burger and coffee area with a bar on site.nChild and dog friendly

A great and unique little ground, if you're more familiar with built-up stadia, this is a very different experience. I was in attendance for the Bedfordshire Derby Ampthill vs. Bedford BluesnnWhen you arrive at Ampthill Rugby club, you find the pitch for RFC Ampthill is a short walk from the pitches by the main road.nnAs covered previously, this is not a built-up stadium and no segregation. You overlook the putch as there are small grassy barrows around the edge of the pitch.nnWhilst watching the game, you get a decent view of the Bedfordshire countryside, adding to the ground charmnnThere are plenty of facilities such as beer tents and food outlets. The cleanest portable toilets I have been in.nnI'm really looking to going back one day to experience another game
