We have a huge number of cracking restaurants here in Glasgow but this one is probably the best. A very reasonably priced pre theatre menu belies the high quality of the food on offer but the fact that it is packed out in the early evening tells you how popular Amore is. The staff are great. Friendly and hard working. If you live in Glasgow or are just visiting you need to go and eat here, but get a table booked to avoid being disappointed. Just a great place to eat. Go and you will go again and again

Went there for a birthday meal with boyfriend - delicious starters (calamari, paté), very good size pizzas which were also delicious (I had the haggis pizza) and dessert which was beautifully presented. 
The food came quickly, no big waiting time and the waiters did a great job too. Also, the wine glasses were the cleanest I've ever seen in a restaurant - very nice. Prices adequate to quality of food - would go again. :)

Very busy lunchtime. Pleasant Italian atmosphere. Varied menu with all the usual dishes. Food was good but not exceptional. Service was a bit slow and not particularly friendly.

Excellent meal.  Very busy family atmosphere. But food arrived piping hot with no delay.  Great place to celebrate special family gatherings.

Visited here for my 21st birthday. Was immediately met by a rude and very ignorant, disrespectful and inconsiderate man named Romano. Wouldn't crack a smile and forced myself and my mother to move tables after other guests were unable to join us. Was extremely rude and unpleasant and spoke horribly to our waitress, Jodie. She was phenomenal and really went out of her way to ensure I had a lovely evening. Her and our other waiter (we didn't catch his name) really made my evening special. They found a happy birthday balloon and blew that up for our table, and they gave me a free dessert so they could sing happy birthday. Jodie was spectacular and really cheered me up after our evening started disastrously. The food was incredible, very very large portions however was cooked to perfection after only a short wait (on a very busy Saturday night). The atmosphere in the restaurant was incredible, everybody very jolly and happy. However, the tables are very close together and the music was pretty loud making it difficult to converse with each other. I would definitely visit again, maybe earlier on in the day (we visited at 7pm) and I would definitely ignore / avoid Romano at all costs. Very ignorant and unpleasant man considering he is the front of house greeter and the owner's son, this is evidently why he is allowed to work with the public as it certainly is not due to his lack of people's skills / personality.
