Great builders merchants with reasonable prices. Had to travel 12 miles to get there by-passing others on route as it was worth it to be able to get the item I wanted at a reasonable price where other places didn't even stock it. Picked up a few bags of ' granola grit ' whilst there for good measure to ensure a full boot. Helpful staff and will definitely use Alty's again.
Got everything required for the building trade. Great prices. Limited on opening times, so worth checking before going there.

Unfortunately it only takes 1 act of incompetence and they've lost my business.nnDelivery guy was told were to drop the materials. I couldn't supervise and I wish I had. When I realised it hadn't been put where I instructed 30 minutes later I was told it couldn't be moved until after the weekend.nnApparently the materials were dropped at the location I instructed him to so the answer was no. Not sure why I would instruct the delivery driver to drop the materials at a location that would either add another 4-5 hours work on to my day meaning using a whacker plate until midnight or £80 to extend the hire of the whacker plate.nnI am literally 10 minutes from their depot and it's 10 minutes work at the most but apparently that's just too much for them to do.nnThanks guys I really appreciate this. NOT!
What a fantastic driver! Managed to get a big delivery of plasterboard etc down a cul de sac with very little room on each side and even better he craned about 2/3 of the load up into the front yard with about 2 inch clearance. Saved me a lot of labour on my dodgy knee. Excellent service
