I just wanted to say thanks for the great service provided by Alpha taxis over the Christmas period. I prebooked the cabs for 4 nights and all was confirmed quickly and clearly. Each time the taxi arrived 5 minutes ahead of the booked time, the cabs were clean and tidy and the drivers friendly and helpful. The prices for the journeys over the holiday period were also reasonable. Alpha helped my 86 and 85 year old parents have a wonderful time. Thank you.
It's not just about getting from A to B. I had to write a review for this company and the excellent service they offer. After leaving a party this weekend, I jumped in the cab and arrived home safe & sound. A bit worse for wear. The next morning I am panicking, I have lost my purse with my bank card in it. On contacting reception at Alpha Taxi the ladies were both sympathetic and very helpful. Once I had given them the correct information they contacted the driver. Who was actually off for the following three days. The driver confirmed he had my purse and brought it to the office for me to collect. What a relief. Thank you Mr. I don't use Taxis very often but will only ever use this firm in the future.
Zero professional standards. Drivers have a very poor attitude to road safety, especially around vulnerable road users. Berating members of the public potential customers! with a litany of swear words also seems to be perfectly acceptable to Alfa. Frankly, I'd rather walk.
Before we started the ride I asked if they accepted card and was told they do, when we arrived at my destination the POS machine wouldn't work, so we drove to the nearest ATM and back for me to get cash. The meter was running the whole time, even though it was their equipment that was faulty.
It was ok, order a taxi for 5.15pm arrived at like 10 mins early wasn't ready knocks on the door. Twice, this has happened
Never available when you really need them , rainy days , night time or stormy days ..they will simply put any justification not to come or to come after like 30 mins or more ... As a service they are good more or less but again , never there when you really need urgent taxi .
We used Alpha Taxis for getting to and from Bristol Airport for a recent holiday. The price was about the same as parking at the airport but without the hassle of driving. The driver they sent was very professional, had a modern comfortable Volkswagen and knew the route like the back of his hand
Phoned up and driver arrived very quick. Friendly driver would defo use again
The taxi turned up more or less on time, however he tried to put pressure on me to take a train to Bath instead of a bus, no doubt so he could charge me a bit more because it was a longer distance to the train station than the bus stop. I said no and he had to take me to the bus stop. It was time and a half which wasn't a bad fare for a bank holiday Monday.
Never answer the phones!! Half of your taxi people are rude as you like!!!
