Regrettably having been a customer, and shareholder, that found staff helpful and friendly my recent visit to the Hathersage shop was a disappointment. The staff appeared uninterested in the customers and my request for advise and assistance in finding an item where met with a disinterested response. The store was also untidy with goods for recycling piled up, and damaged and faulty goods also randomly piled in boxes and shelves with few having information regarding the fault or cost on them. I have always thought that the ethos of Alpkit should be supported but the experience in the shop that you started from left me feeling let down. Previously I have found it to be a great place to shop, my Camino and camping kit was from there, and staff were helpful and friendly. Please bring this level of service back.
I was so grateful for the generous help that I was given to sort out a technical problem with my daughter's bike today. The store manager and cycle mechanic were both really helpful. I must say that being a bit of a bike enthusiast myself, I was also really impressed with the amazing ra ge of high-quality Sonder bikes on offer...and I will definitely be looking to upgrade soon.
Outstanding customer service. Top quality products. So friendly, so welcoming, so...nice. I truly believe that the people of Alpkit live by their motto and enjoy seeing people going outdoor and doing nice things. I've found my brand for all things adventure, outdoorsy, and bike related. Highly recommend and will defo be back. I can wait to visit their retail spaces, Hathersage here I came!
Lovely little light weight stove. Teamed with the concertina windshield works very well. I use it with the mini trangia pot and lid, so I can not have to use meths.
Outstanding customer service and great products!!! The outdoor equipment is as good as brands charging a lot more. As a small team and company, you also get quick exceptional customer service by a team who know the products well and are pleased to help.
Absolute joke. If you receive a faulty item from these guys, don't expect them to honour the return, even if you've been a loyal customer for years.
Really reasonable quality. Granted its not Rab stuff but it's no where near the rip off price or Rab. So value for money is on point I just wish they wouldn't use the useless folk at Royal mail to post things. Missed my order 4 times now.
Bought a wetsuit which sadly did not fit. When I called to say that I wanted to return it, significantly after the already long 123 day return date, they happily agreed. Couldn't ask for better customer service. Will definitely look to make further purchases from them in the future.
First class service with excellent pricing. I own lots of their camping and bike packing gear. Always buy from here if they stock what I need. People leaving negatives should contact them first. Their backup service is top notch. Every company has snags with certain goods, it's how they deal with it that counts.
I heard of this company by reputation and thought I would give them a try. Great ordering process, nice personal email to tell me my order was on its way, and then a nice handwritten note in my well packaged delivery. Delighted with my purchase, cannot wait to find an excuse to order something else!
