I stayed last week for 2 nights and was disgusted by the state of the room. I paid £130 to be met with a room that was downright filthy. I have attached photos that were taken when we arrived and to name a few concerns you can see the shower was filthy, with a layer of dirt, someone else's flannel and shower gel had been left, highlighting that the shower had not been cleaned since the last person. The toilet looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in months and the hotel smelt awful. When I pay £130 for 2 nights I at least expect it to be clean. I would have asked to be moved rooms however a friend was staying in another room and her room was in the same state. I am concerned that this is an acceptable standard of the rooms offered. We came to stay for a wedding and the state of the room ruined what should have been a great few days away. I traveled 2 hours and was then unable to have a shower and relax before attending a wedding. This is not anything like what is advertised on your website and I am incredibly disappointed. I sent an email to complain and was told that they are 'trying to put more efforts into cleaning it' as they have just bought it. This is not okay. If it is not clean they should not be open. Was incredibly disappointed to have wasted my money on this room and would hate for others to do the same. Nothing like what is advertised
The stay was nice and comfortable. The only downside was the floor needs little carpet near the bed because it can get very cold when walking around with naked feet. Otherwise my experience in this hotel was smooth and staff very friendly. Look forward to stay here again.
Stayed for 2 nights with my boyfriend and it was an amazing stay. Very friendly. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Good value for money. Will definitely stay again!Rooms: 5/5
The room was tiny, it was really filthy , the toilet flush was knackered it kept running water down the toilet, sink tap wasn’t working , honestly it was filthy, no food , I wouldn’t of eaten there , tea , coffee in room but NO MILK ! , I complained and the manager said I agree with you , terrible,Rooms: 1/5
Not impressed. Room was not clean. There was a thick layer of dust on the table in the room, dirty towels left on the floor when I arrived. Had to go and ask for them to be removed & get new ones. The one member of staff I encountered was apologetic about the room & helpful in taking my bags to the room. It was a small room, however, I don't believe it was good value for money for the size & quality of what was provided.
No toilet paper, bed bugs and no refund. The veneer of service with no follow up. Manager took an hour to find somewhere to buy 1 roll of toilet paper. We did move rooms, but by then, the damage was done and a week later I still have the bed bug bites. Promises of a well deserved refund not fulfilled. Don't go.
1 star because it won’t let me leave zero. We booked for 11 nights while we get our house sorted because we moved to Bicester from Ireland. We were left waiting 30 minutes outside while there was zero staff. There was a note left on the window to call a number to check in, we did call and text but no answer. The “manager” comes strolling in, I’m already finished with this situation. He doesn’t apologise, he was out shopping! We clearly expressed our concerns with the business and he laughed and said “it’s a 2 star hotel what do you expect? You can find the rooms cold, damp, dirty and there’s hair everywhere” and I wish I was joking but we walked straight out!!!! Plus there’s cigarette ends and cans of alcohol and rubbish everywhere outside with guests smoking out of the windows regardless of the ‘no smoking on the premises’ signs. Also worth mentioning we have a 1 year old, never have I EVER experienced a business encounter like this! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!
Keys was just left on the reception with a post it lable no staff onsite, not clean, nice bit of gdpr there for everyone to see, rooms well see better in a hostel, shower once again a tip, dirty used mattress left in car park, Good points Shower was powerfully and car was parked outside our window
No one there on arrival absolutely disgusting rooms only thing that was clean were the sheets.shower was so small.the carpets in the hallway looked as if the hadn't been vacuumed for years.minging does not have 24hr reception or dining room and no balcony from what I could see.have stayed here a few years ago snd was very nice hence why we booked this time but will never stay here again.
Stayed in a comfortable room with all amenities. No one at desk to checkout though so just left the key in the room. Decent enoughRooms: 5/5
