This establishment is no longer alloro. It is now a Nepalese restaurant called the Gurkha Embassy. The food is excellent and the prices are more than reasonable. The staff could do with a little more command of English language, as ordering can be a little difficult. All in all this place is well worth a visit. I will certainly go back

The food here is always great however prices continue to creep ever upwards. This makes Alloro quite expensive and last time we went the chef was also the waiter and barman which was slightly odd. I'm not sure how he would have coped of there were more people in.
The food here is amazing and authentic. This is a restaurant for special occasions and you need to set aside enough time to enjoy the place. You also need to bring your appetite!
This is the latest incarnation of Italian in Syston and deserves to be around a long time. My wife and I went for lunch and although the place was quite empty, the service and quality of food were excellent. I've always loved Italian food and have been to some great restaurants but this is right up there. I had calamari which matches the best I've ever had, followed by carbonara which was also really very good. My wife had a salmon tortellini and refused to share it was that nice. If that isn't enough, Peroni on draught.
Very tasty food. Marina bread very nice. Bruschetta starter nice. Pasta mains tasty. Good portions. Bit pricey but tasty. Good service.
Now called the ghurka embassy, its a Nepalese restaurant and it is absolutely fantastic. Amazing food and really friendly staff. Excellent
