I would recommend this company to anyone needing new carpets or floor coverings. They have transformed my house. The whole process, from entering the shop to measuring & fitting was made easy. Martin, the owner, is knowledgeable, pleasant & efficient. The fitters are too. Great value for money & super job!

I had the pleasure of meeting Martin and have found him to be extremely professional, knowledgeable and honest. Above all an absolute joy to work with, a breath of fresh air in comparison to all the other big and small retailers. Martin on numerous occasions has gone beyond the call of duty and proved he genuinely cares about his clients. An example would be not selling me something I didn’t need. For example, he actually pulled the carpet back to check if I needed to buy underlay and I was advised I would only need it in one room so I can could save on the cost. The team of fitters were equally amazing, in particular “Spud”. I had an issue on the day where the fitters could only fit one room, this was completely my fault as there was work being done on the floor boards. Spud kindly agreed to fit one room and come back and fit the other room the next day! I have never felt a need to write any type of feedback about an retailer before, however i feel Martin has shown me qualities that I should be sharing with others. If I or my family ever need carpets again, I wouldn’t dream of trusting anybody else.

Have recently had both my dinning room and hallstairs and landing carpeted by Allen carpets. Martin was very knowledgable and helpfull and the fitters were amazing. Have been using this company for 20 years plus and cant recommend more highly.

Met martin at the property on 12/01/16 where he measured the rooms and said he will get back to me with a quote. He understood as I explained quite clearly that my tenant who had been away while I refurbished his flat was due to move back in on 21/01/16 and we needed to get the carpets installed asap. I didn't hear anything from Martin until I called him on 18/01/16 and he told me he didn't want to quote for the work until the other 2 flats in the building had been refurbished. He could of told me this on the 12th and given me the opportunity to find another carpet supplier and fitter. This is the first time Ive ever had to post a review. Terrible customer service and I strongly recommend using a more professional company.

The service was second to none. Martins knowledge and guidance through our choice was excellent . His prices were unbeatable. We had got a price from the shop around the corner on the same carpet and martin was over £800 cheaper. Will certainly recommend Allen carpets and the fitter Darren
