Turned up on a Thursday afternoon. As it states online that the main pool is open 5-8pmnnThe main pool was not open, but laned off and lessons going on.nnAll that was available was a double lane and the shallow area near the jacuzzi. Hardly any room to swim. And the water was cold.nnUsually I'd give it 5 stars. As it is a great place, esp on weekends.nBut the main pool not being open as advertised really let the evening down.nnIf they had told us that the pool was not fully open , I would have gone elsewhere. But we where not informed at the front desk of any changes.
Recently visited early morning weekday fun swim session. Pool overcrowded massively considering price per person. Half pool cut off for people swimming laps. Pool relatively clean.
Have used this facility for many years. Usually the pool area. Post COVID it's still necessary to book at weekends as it gets busy. There's a small cafe and spectator area. It is used by schools for lessons during term time but also offers sessions for different needs including women only sessions.nThe floors can become dirty due to footwear which in some pools, shoes should be removed before entering the changing areas. Disappointingly the disabled shower area has been removed and the showers are not temperature controlable but are set and a bit warm for babies
Good facilities but then the website not updated so drove all the way to be told the sessions starts only at 6. Not easy when you with an exited toddler. So had to drive for an hour to take him to mcdonalds to make him happy. Worse is not even a sorry fro. The staff, she only asked me to take a photo of the new time tables
Well what a difference, came here 4 weeks ago and was disappointed with the treatment we received of a poolside lifeguard while we were supporting a young lady with disabilities. Today we came across a lady who could not have been more accommodating with the three of us. You made today an enjoyable experience. Thank you.
