All Saints Church in Buttington has been dated to the 14th or 15th century and it is built on the site of the former Strata Marcella Abbey. The simple, white structure is undivided inside, featuring a 15th century arch braced timber roof and 17th century bellcote and timber porch. The stone carved, leaf pattern font is particularly unusual. It is thought to have been recovered from the Strata Marcella Abbey and dates to the early 1220s.
