I have worked as a Registered Nurse at the Rhallt for about 7 yrs now, and I can honestly say I have enjoyed, and still enjoy my time here. The work load can be hard, but we now have an excellent management team and through their dedication, support and the help of the rest of team, we have managed to turn the place around and make this a great home for our residents and staff. My ‘job’ is so rewarding knowing that I make a difference for our residents, always putting their needs and wishes first. The hardest part of my job is realising just how vulnerable these adults are, I therefore care for them as I would care for any member of my own family. The most satisfying part of my job is knowing I make people smile and knowing I make a difference, not a day goes by without the sound of laughter. The Rhallt is such a warm and happy home, and I look forward to the next 7 years. We are constantly training and working hard to make improvements with an aim to make the Rhallt an excellent home for both Residents, their families and staff. Pop in for a coffee anytime, come and see for yourself ..........
I have very recently relocated and I cannot thank the WHOLE of the team at Rhallt , Welshpool for making me feel so welcome. Everyone so warm ,friendly and approachable. Currently working my way through a very organised Induction programme, including online training and First Aid Training. It’s so nice and refreshing to hear laughter throughout the day at the Rhallt. Helping to ensure it feels like a home for all the residents. All this is occurring at the Rhallt as we continue through the Covid 19 pandemic.
I recently spent the day at The Rhallt administering the covid vaccine to all the residents. From the moment I walked in the staff were all really friendly, welcoming and helpful. They really care about all their residents and all appear to work well as a team.
Having recently started working here I can highly recommend Barchester as a good company to work for. The recruitment process was far more supportive than what I’m used to in the NHS and the welcome from the staff in the home has been really lovely. My Manager is hugely supportive and Barchester has really impressed me with how they place the resident at the centre of everything they do.
What a wonderful place, friendly committed staff that show my grandmother with the utmost respect and dignity. The management is second to none, from the moment we walked through the door we were shown compassion and understanding. I couldn't rate The Rhallt highly enough. It feels like a home from home, it's decor is immaculate and 24 hour visiting gives piece of mind and flexibility.
Having been on work experience here for a week I have seen how great the staff are with residence and how much everyone enjoys themselves. It has been a lovely time having been welcomed by everyone who works here!
Such a warm and welcoming home. Staff always appear friendly and helpful. Special mention to all in the Activity team who go above and beyond to create such a interactive and lovely environment. Huge efforts are met by all on theme activity days. It's always a joy visiting here.
Bevs Mobile Hair & Beauty has been providing a service to the Rhallt for over a year since March 2020. They are very professional and caring to all residents and staff. Once Covid-19 is safe to work we will be returning to business at the Rhallt.
*CAROLINE FARR* I absolutely loved meeting all the lovely ladies today, they were all so happy to have their hair done and all the staff made me feel so welcome, so glad to be their hairdresser!
During these uncertain and difficult times I have not been able to visit The Rhallt - I have had contact with Sharon, General Manager and members of her administration team via telephone, email and zoom meetings - everyone has been so helpful and pleasant - it is a pleasure to follow your Facebook page and see The Rhallts Residents taking part in and enjoying various activities and to see staff celebrating their achievements - thank you Sharon for everything and take good care of each other
