Took advantage of the birdcage drinks deal for my girlfriends birthday and would highly recommend. Food was delicious and the service was great. Didn’t catch our servers name, but the tall guy with the long hair was fantastic.
Has a welcoming atmosphere and decor is lovely, staff are fantastic. Had a coffee and butternut squash falafel bowl which I throughly enjoyed! The flavours and textures were amazing! I also had a side of sweet potato fries which were cooked to perfection! I would highly recommend! Also discovered they offer breakfasts 2 for £12! I will definitely return!!!
Great service, great ambience, great evening out. We had one too many of the sailors swirl cocktails and few pints of beer at this all bar one location. But we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and gear service at the bar. Would highly recommend.
Came here for the first time in 3 years due to the pandemic. We came for my partner's birthday and had dinner. We were served by a young man who was extremely friendly and polite, with prompt service. The lychee daiquiri was a dream, a bit strong, just the way I like it! We had the 5 small plates for around 30 pounds to start off with, fried mushrooms, duck gyoza, karaage chicken x 2 & chicken skewers we absolutely loved the chicken skewers, the mushrooms and the karaage chicken! They were just the right size and were extremely moreish! We each had a main as well, butternut squash plus other things I forget superbowl with added chicken breast, chicken katsu burger, beef brisket burger with cheese and beef brisket without cheese burger. The katsu burger was okay, a good amount of chicken and the breadcrumb coating was lovely; the sauce was okay, I feel that perhaps it didn't quite work as a burger, but was nice nonetheless. The other two burgers were very nice and the balance of meat and other fillings wes just right. The burgers are big by the way! I forgot to take pictures of the foods ordered the superbowl was lovely as well, was not really to my personal taste, however my partner loved it. The atmosphere and decor are smart and calming with an air of sophistication. I liked the plant decor and the teal and gold colours. We came here originally 3 years ago for lunch and then a few months later they refurbished the place and this is what we have now. Very nice. Always recommend All Bar One's food, as it's a hidden gem I believe! Photos show our drinks white wine, tap water, 2 lychee daiquiris and orange & lemonade mixed, also shown are images of special cocktail covers and serving equipment by Hendricks Gin on the side, they looked so cool so I took some pictures.
Good drink and a nice bar. However, manager didn't seem very professional. Had to remind them to make our drinks as it seems they forgot. Was asked to pay our bill midway through the evening whilst still ordering drinks. Service charged our table despite us all ordering at the bar, asked this to be removed, which seemed to be done with an attitude. Happy to visit again, but hopefully with someone else on shift.
Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Excellent food. Only feedback was that the chocolate martini advertised outside the bar had a chocolate truffle with it... which we received with the first order as well as a wedge of chocolate on the glass. When we ordered it a second time there was no truffle or chocolate wedge. We asked the waitress and she brought out a separate truffle on a dish but she explained it wasn't part of the drink. Yet the picture of the cocktail in the menu clearly showed it?
Great service lovely interior and cosy. Good place for a date or cosy meal for friends. One of the more cooler places on the high street. The service is great and there is an app option to do it all on your phone. They have removed the all day breakfast from the menu so mainly basic starters, burgers etc. Check their websit for the latest menu. I also noted it was very disabled friendly and the staff were great with helping me. The seating is varied as well you can get nice tables at the back or just sit and enjoy the new view.
If you want to eat - AVOID AT ALL COST... unless you want cheap and low quality food. Good cocktails, but definitely overpriced for the area. Staff are great but these types of bars unfortunately attract a bit of a snobby clientele.
I booked for my TrekFit Group Christmas dinner. We pre-ordered our courses. We were all really pleased with the food and service. The food was an excellent standard, really, really enjoyable, better than you would expect for the price. The staff were so helpful and friendly and the venue is cosy and comfortable. Despite the fact it was snowing outside, we were perfectly warm. I like the decor and the lighting. Creates a lovely atmosphere
Went to have lunch today. Food for me arrived fairly quickly and my partner had to wait another 5-7 min we both ordered burgers. My order was missing pulled beef, which was brought separately when I pointed it out. Then I noticed that there were also no onions in my burger and told the waiter. He apologized and went to check with the kitchen. Meanwhile my partner started eating and luckily he took the top bun off to add sauce as he discovered a second wooden skewer inside - the one that is used to hold burgers together! The regular skewer that was actually holding the burger together was taken out by my partner before he started eating. Our waiter came back to tell me that onions are on the way, then he started apologising profusely for the situation, having heard about the skewer and said he'll check with the manager. Then the waiter came back and offered us 50% off food which we accepted, still being in a slight shock. Obviously, by the time my onions arrived, I almost finished with the burger so having deconstructed and spread out in time burger certainly did not help the mood. Summing up, not very pleasant experience, which could have been even worse if my partner hurt himself with the wooden skewer. I also find it appalling that the manager has not come to apologise himself for so many mistakes that his staff made, sending the young lad instead to take the blow. Food was good but they really have to up their game to avoid not only bad reviews but being taken to court for accidentally chocking their customers.
